    Hair loss

Eyeshadow ladies! I had this problem when I had the band surgery (it's out thank goodnesss) but you will lose hair inevitable... take your vitamins biotin wash your hair less times a week but use eyeshadow that matches your hair color and blend it on on your scalp this way when you're out in the sun it's not as noticeable.. it's only temporary.. hair loss sucks but will regrow Lapband placed: 8/2011 Lapband removed: 3/2017 VSG: 8/2/2017
  4. This is awesome!! Thank you for sharing! I'm reading a lot of band to sleeve conversions at same surgery. I'm so glad that you're kicking @$$!!!! Keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to the same. As far as surgery with band removal I'm on the same page. Surgeon said bandsters lose at a slower pace and I was okay with that but you have given me a boost cause you're almost at the 100 mark and that's a huge deal!!!!! I started at 230 and I can't get past the 201 number on the scale it's driving me nuts along with weighing myself every morning.. Good luck to you!!!![emoji813]️ Lapband placed: 8/2011 Lapband removed: 3/2017 VSG: 8/2/2017

  12. Does it taste yummy? I don't like the aftertaste the bariatric vitamins leave on my tongue and I don't like that the ones I've purchased are made with soy... I was looking at these tespos online Looks like a great investment.. but what's it taste like and does it leave you with filmy overly sweet tongue [emoji58] Lapband placed: 8/2011 Lapband removed: 3/2017 VSG: 8/2/2017

    Post Surg Brace from Amazon?

I got a binder when I was at the hospital and I love it! They gave me two. So one keeps me together if you know what I mean during the day.. too much flab slapping around.. it doesn't feel like I'm splitting open when I get up or mobile doing things around the house, helps my posture.. I bind the two at night loosely around and it prevents me from scratching the living daylights out of my healing itchy stomach.. and honestly I think it's melting some fat around my waist and giving me some form.. or so I wanna believe [emoji12] Lapband placed: 8/2011 Lapband removed: 3/2017 VSG: 8/2/2017

  16. Guys! I'm 10 days post op. I've been wearing a binder to the extent where it fits comfortably. I'm home alone with my two-year-old and my husband is out with my oldest girls. I was freezing so today was the first time I bent over to put my socks. I got the worst pain ever in the chest area. But it was not my chest it was my stomach.I ate a Fudgsicle about an hour ago. I have not had any thing to drink. Got up and walked around and that pain that made me feel nauseated and gave me a cold sweat and clammy hands is gone now. It really freaked me out. Imagining the worst keeling over with my 2 year old in the house. I burped a couple burps and that pain has subsided. Has anyone experienced this? Was it trapped gas that I burped up or was it a cramp from bending over to put my socks on.. I did not like that feeling at all.. help!
  17. I'm very sensitive to smells especially mouth odors... and now I'm on the offending end 🤢 I've worked in oral surgery for 28 some years and I can smell rotting enamel and perio.. Since surgery I have yuck mouth and I cannot make it go away. Granted, water intake isn't up to what I used to consume and my diet has been almost keto like... this morning my breath was so bad it made me nauseous..🤢 10 days post op sleeping 1/2 way seated upright.. I don't want to have that breath.. smells like I'm pooping out of my mouth...🤢🤢🤢🤢 Any suggestions? Will it go away soon? Lapband placed: 8/2011 Lapband removed: 3/2017 VSG: 8/2/2017

I'm on full liquids (well graduated to puréed at week one which I'm not crazy about) but my surgeon said no carbs.. :-/ I see you have chicken noodle or rice blenderized strained on your list..so tempting.. Lapband placed: 8/2011 Lapband removed: 3/2017 VSG: 8/2/2017

    Post op sinus infection

I hope you recover soon! I tried samples of bariatric advantage multi! YUKKKK it has a bitter taste. The multivitamin fusion is nice it actually tastes like flinstone kids vitamins. The cherry bariatric advantage B12 and calcium citrate chewable from bariatric advantage are ok. I received samples from my Drs office and the bariatric dept at the hospital. If you can get samples before purchasing a bottle ask for samples!! Your Drs office or bariatric unit at the hospital may have some samples for you.
