Yes
I have not lost friends but I notice a change in how they act towards me.
Even my closes relatives.
I hear some negative things out of their mouths.
But I know what I had to do to change for my health. I don't care if they understand or not. I am happy with me. I feel like I am no longer in bondage to bad eating habits. I am do thankful and grateful I made a wise choice.

That's why the program have you see a psychiatrist to find out why you eat the way you do and what sparks you to eat the wrong things and learn how to change those eating habits.

It not about being afraid to become dehydrated. It is about doing the right thing. If you can't follow the plan for your well being than why have surgery?

I was told to drink Decaf coffee and tea. Wait at least 6 months for stomach to heal. Caffenated coffee and tea will dehydrate you.
I am 1 yr post op and have a cup of coffee everyday.

I have no problems except Constipation which is norm from so much protein.

If I eat a salad than I go without needing stool softner.< br>I go to gym 2_3 X a week. I use to go 4-5 X a week.
I am no longer on meds for B/P,
Cholesterol nor diabetes. Everything is normal now.
I don't need a knee replacement now either. My knees feel good.
I just Thank God for this Blessing
For my health.
So you just do everything you suppose to do and everything will be fine.

I did not tell everybody.

Just want to say that it will be the best decision you made.
Every one goes through surgery differently.
I did not have any problems what so ever.
Just walk, walk, walk to get rid of gas pain.
Follow the plan. Exercise ( walking) protein/ Water and you should do fine.
I have lost 100 lbs. I am 8 months post op sleeve.
Only thing is Constipation. I take stool softner for that.
I use to have IBS but not now.
I would recommend WLS TO anyone with health problems who can't get rid of weight.
It is a good thing!!!!

I agree about therapist.
That was a requirement before my surgery. Find out why you eat
The way you do.
Also I eat a half of Protein Bar and Protein chips in evening or Yogurt. I eat at least every 3 hrs.
I am still losing weight.
I don't think that is gazing.

I am 2 yrs post sleeve. I was scared too and had some anxiety but all for nothing! It is the best thing I have done for my life. It was so good with the surgery that I thought some thing was wrong. I felt so good I could not believe it. Only had some gas pain which went away when you walk it off. Had no problems with swallowing at all.
Did everything by the book. I have lost 110lbs.
No more meds! Health is good!!
So don't fear!! It will go well. Just do what you are told.
