  2. Thank you..I certainly will check this out!
  3. I'm so tired of my premier protein shakes. Can you give me some ideas of other ways to make my own? I bought some protein powder and mixed it with banana extract and dehydrated peanuts and skim milk..I about gagged when I tried it..feeling disappointed.
  4. I feel great, just tire easily. I haven't taken pain Med's since I've been home. Tomorrow is one week for me.
  5. I'm so glad a person I knew told me many years ago that she'd had gastric surgery. I never knew her heavy and was blown away at how amazing she looked! If it weren't for her I probably never would have proceeded. I've decided to tell people and hopefully, I'll help someone make their decision.

  11. Hi! I am going this Monday for a barium swallow. Met with the anesthesiologist last Wednesday and he said my blood work from October was perfect so there was no need to repeat. No other tests have been mentioned. Now I'm getting concerned...I guess when I go for barium swallow I'll do some investigating!
  12. Never mind, I just realized what it is!! Powered peanut butter!
  13. Does everyone get an EKG before surgery? My sleeve is 3/21 and it hasn't even been mentioned. Does the nurse decide if you need one?

  18. I've been telling anyone if it comes up in conversation...example, I need two weeks off of work and so clients are asking me if everything is ok or am I going on a great vacation? I tell them I'm having bariatric surgery and the responses have been great! Honestly, the handful of negative comments have been from my obese family/friends/clients. I'm thinking it could be a jealous thing. The support has been amazing!
