Agreed ! Same problem and I wondered about me [emoji1]

Certainly interesting in reading these stories because I was wondering what was going on with me now that I am 45 days out . In the same club now also by tailbone pain after short period . Great problem to have with weight loss but still a learning curve for all

One night and released by noon the next day
-
Hope your doing better
-
Wanted to check back with you to see how you were doing . I am now 33 days out from surgery and 46 pounds lighter than before surgery
The total weight loss now is 88 Lbs since 12/13/16 my first visit with the surgeon and my surgery was on 3/9/17.
Adjustments as you stated but certainly more than worth it .
Hope you are doing well -
One good decision and day at a time, glad to know you are in the path for the best you!

Best of luck! I am now 7 days out and already feeling pretty much back to normal. Best that gas pains and things go great.

I am tomorrow one week out and I can already tell you that the sacrifice in the big picture long term carries only one regret-I should have had this done at age 50 instead of telling myself I had this
What I have found in a very short time is to educate yourself, read, read and read. Don't try to change the process but adapt the new process . Finally, be sure that what resides between your ears is set in the correct mode mentality. It is a great tool, but the factors many have mentioned, plus my own short term are key for the long term success.
Hang in there .lb2017, aprilsdiamond and LilEngine reacted to this -

Thanks so very much . I appreciate you taking your time for support. Completing day 2 after surgery . Lots better than I imagined . Still however a long way to go

Just had my VSG on Thursday and finally decided to sleep on my side last night with zero sleep problems.
The paranoid I had when I first went to bed. -
Proud for you ! Just had my sleeve completed this past Thursday. No problems . What I found is that at 60, even now you must "mentally "prepare yourself.
You will do great -
Saturday evening and I just spent my second day after surgery on Thursday morning on my new adventure called life.
Surgery went great . Dr. Miles in Birmingham, AL and his entire staff did a great job and were very supportive.
Surgery was one hour and then recovery.
So far, none of the bad side effects that you read about. Water and walking even with bad knees helped.
Proud that part is behind me now and looking forward to the new tool and how it has already changed my life.
No hunger yet. Getting my required water in . Worse part for me was the removal of the drain since my belly area was so tender.
Incisions are coming along nicely but keeping my eye on them .
Now, I am looking forward to making this second chance work for me that God and Dr. Miles have provided me .
Since my first meeting with Dr. Miles on 12/13/16, I am down over 45 lbs and 3.5lbs down in one day from surgery.
Keep the suggestions coming . Very much appreciated!AllysonB reacted to this -

Good sources of opinions in your favor to review, sift through but regardless going through this life change requires three key elements I have found out in my short change.
1. Educate yourself - Research, Read, Reach out, then Research and read some more .
2. Find some type of solid support system to have in place . It takes a tribe [emoji1], to work the success and for a good balance .
3. Develop a mental toughness between your ears so that you can succeed. The mental aspect combined with the above two key ingredients will help you in your success- In my opinion ( Only).
Best of luck !
