daily intake since last fill
wake up at 11am
11am - coffee and Water till 12
12pm - Protein Shake with extra Calcium
1-4pm - water
4pm - one or two bites of a fruit, veggie, or meat.< /p>
5-7pm - still feel full but able to drink some water
7pm - dinner - a few tiny bites of chicken or maybe 2-3 bites of salad or a bite of each which is what i have been doing.
8-11pm water
11pm - 2 bites of something that looks good(sometime fro-yo which i can still only have 2 bites of even though its ice cream) but mostly healthy stuff.
rest of night i drink water. i prob total 50oz of water daily
it has been a week since my fill. i am going to give it a few more days and hopefully i open up a tiny bit. i also forgot to mention i take a mens oneaday.
i am not fatigued. i have energy to do my exercises everyday. i am tired when i am done but i think i should be.
any thoughts or ideas on any part of my day i would really love to hear.

when i got my fill the doc said normal is 2 months but i didn't know at the time what the restriction would be like. i guess i should just call. thanks for the speedy replies

how long after the first fill can i get my second fill? the first fill did absolutely nothing for me and would love to have some restriction. my first fill was 3cc

About a week ago I had some fantastic vanilla / Raspberry Ripple S/F and F/F ice cream from an ice cream parlor close to my house called Bruster's.ALL EVENING LONG it sounded like a 1,000 coyotes howling my bowels! The stuff that makes it sweet, also makes your stomach "sing"! A few Gas X strips helped ..... but I think having that S/F and F/F ice cream treat will be few and far between! :-)

i am worried 6oz is too much. one reason i drank that much was because i have not been getting enough Protein in. this morning was the first time i felt ok drinking it so i finished it. i am full still though.
a question about pbing. does it just happen or do you make it happen?

i am not even one week out and just had my Protein Drink for Breakfast. i was able to drink 6oz over about 20 minutes. is this a big problem?

Protein bullets are cool! I bought some - they have 27 grams of Protein or you can get ones that have like 50 grams of protein in them. I'm further along (about a month out), so I mixed my bullet with some fruit punch, and I didn't even realize it was in there...I won't be doing that TOO often because of all the sugar that is in fruit punch, but it helped.The bullets come in a container that is probably 2-3 ounces and you can do them like a shot (only obviously slower since you're banded and there is swelling)...
thanks so much for responding. this is great. i don't even care if it tastes bad, 3 oz is cake. i ordered 2 different products
freshstartprotein.com and "ids liquid protein". the freshstart ones have 42 grams of protein and i think i got the ids ones with 48 grams. i got the ids ones from Amazon.< /p>

i just tried some choc Protein Powder mixed in with sugar free choc pudding. it is tolerable. i am still experimenting, this is the first thing i can handle.

Are you banded? If you are hardly getting any Protein in, then you are putting your health and possibly your life at risk. Please call your doctor and discuss your nutrition needs with him/her.i was banded tues the 10th

is this Protein deficiency?
i find it almost to get the recommended amount of Protein in. i almost get none. i have yet to find a Protein Drink i like. even if i did, i can not drink enough to get the recommended amount of protein. i am full all day and barely drink anything

i was banded on the 10th. every time i stand up i feel like i am about to burp but nothing happens. not really any gas coming out the other end either. did you all go through this?
surprisingly, sucking on ice pops brings real real tiny burps up. should i continue this?

U know i was given liquid lortab and i felt as sick as a dog... Trust me when i say u have to force yourself to drink your liquids or u will get dehydrated... I felt the same way. I didn't eat or drink anything for 4-days and my eyes were sunken in and I could tell i was dehydrated... u have to drink....thats what i needed to hear. i just got back from a walk and do feel a little better. i am slowly getting my Water in.

having a real hard time getting in the Protein and fluids. any advice? i feel full and don't want to drink anything.
the Doc gave me codeine with acetaminophen and it doesn't help with any pain. i am thinking it might be disagreeing with my stomach so i am going to lay off it for a while.
is this common?

for me the whole process took 3 months to the date. on my first visit to the docs we scheduled the surgery and he gave me a bunch of referrals to other docs to start getting tests done. i did most of my tests within the first month but i had one mix up. originally i was told i didn't need a stress test but ended up needing one.
before i even did the stress test i was OKed by my insurance company. i did not have to do any paperwork myself, the docs office took care of all that. they have a very good success rate of approvals so they knew exactly what needed to be done.
i am having surgery in 2 days which will be 3 months from the original appointment

the more reading i do the more i see how not only is every surgeon different, but i guess age, weight, bmi, gender, maybe even ethnicity play a role. i am still going to play it safe and do Clear Liquids and Protein Shakes or the next 48 hours

how did you find this thread? its almost a year old.
i had my band for almost a year now and dropped about 50 lbs which is 1/2 the weight i wanted to lose. 50 more and i am at 170 which is my goal.
