Where do you see yourself Long term

15 years from now I'll be approaching retirement or near it (I'll be 40) and hope that my children are in college or nearing it, and I'm preparing to move to Florida to spend the rest of my days with my hubby. -

Uncontrollable gerd definitely but there's new management techniques for gerd such as the Linx. And not everyone has gerd or has it bad. I don't have the heartburn or regurgitation. -

Very emotional after the sleeve procedure
Deactivatedfatgal replied to carlychloe2's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I started feeling like that at about 4-6 weeks post op and it's bad at times BUT I also felt like this after c-section & breast reduction. It's actually not uncommon for people to have ptsd after a procedure. -

My doc didn't prescribe this! I'm going to inquire. I also heard there's a medication for gallstone prevention -

There are a few for me, I knew about reflux but didn't know SOOOO many suffer from it long term & possibility of needing revision if adaquete weight loss was not reached/etc. I personally never want to undergo another bariatric wls. -
April 3rd Sleeve
Deactivatedfatgal replied to Grandma of Six Boys's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I honestly crushed sf popsickles & mixed it with water & ice to make a "slushee" for first few weeks because I wanted to get as much liquid as possible. I am almost 8 weeks out and can ONLY consume one or two bites before needing to take a break. I also did have buyers remorse but only cause I was self pay & my husband just changed jobs & I could've gone through them for procedure, lol. Sorry about your trip to the ER, just try to sip, sip all day, set reminders on your phone if you need to. It's easy for me to forget to sip at times, but I can drink more at once than week 1,2,3 and so forth. -

Has Anyone Had a Second Sleeve?
Deactivatedfatgal replied to SoCalLeslie's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Yes I have heard of quite a few people doing a sleeve to sleeve revision due to no weight loss or over eating and truly expanding it. YouTube has videos of it. I personally wouldn't want to redo anything, get strict and get back on track! Gl to you. -
