    Which surgery??

I chose the sleeve , for me it seemed like the best option. I had 75% of stomach removed and rarely feel hungry. I am six weeks out now and down 30 pounds I had occasional reflux before surgery but now I do not have it. I think each procedure has pros and cons. Good luck to you.

    Fell off the wagon

My suggestion is to focus on why you had the procedure. I'm almost 6 weeks out and have zero desire for bad food, I did battle occasional head hunger. My motto is treat my body like the fuel in my car, if I put the wrong fuel in my body like a car, it will slowly break down. Best of luck xo
  5. First off, I'm sorry you for want through this! I would hope you could find support on a forum like this. So you became anorexic and then began binge eating to gain the weight back? Now you feel you can't stop eating? What did the doc do to check and see if your stomach stretched? I'm praying you find your way & faith. You are beautiful & WORTHY. Hope my few words of encouragement help

  9. It's been great. The first week was hard but I managed to get through it.
  10. I was sleeved 3/13/2017
  11. I went through the denial and self reassuring for years. I even backed out of the procedure rny when my insurance would have covered it. Three years later, I was nearing prediabetes, high cholesterol & im only 25. I lost 40 pds on my own two years ago and gained it plus more back. I decided enough was enough, and opted for the vsg & paid for the procedure. I'm no vet but this procedure is life changing. You will learn to adjust to your new norm. As time goes on the restrictions lesson and you will eat a decent amount of food, but if you want to eat large portions you need to reconsider. Even if you only eat four small meals a day, why does that matter? You will not be hungry

Things I didn't think of after sleeve.

Butt pain is from losing weight or losing muscle mass. Are you getting your vitamins in? I've always been cold.

    Normal consumption of food?

Well I dumped it after the second mouthful. Got to get more premier protein.

    Normal consumption of food?

Hi, all. I am currently 5 weeks post op as of today. I was curious about others consumption this early out. I ordered a cup of cheddar soup from Panera and could only have two spoonfuls and I felt as though I would get the chest and stomach cramps if I had one more bite.
