Hello everyone! I am in need of a good pair of sneakers. I am doing a lot of walking so I need some good shock absorbtion, but I dont want them to be really thick and cant bend. Do you guys have any suggestions? Which brand do you perfer and how have they work for you? All comments are greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Okay, it was good for me to post my goals last week cus then I had something concrete to look at and push myself to meet. I was a butt kicking, but I am willing to try it again.... I did 1.5 miles walking the dogs on Sunday Monday- 6 miles and step class in the evening- 3mi in the am, 3 mi in the pm and an hour step class Tuesday- 3 miles before TOPS Wednesday- 3 miles in the a.m. Thursday- 3 miles in teh a.m. and 3 miles in the p.m. Friday- 3 miles in the am and step class in the evening Saturday- 3 miles in the a.m. and 3 miles in the p.m. Gotta get the scale moving!!!:clap2: :clap2:

4/22/06 B- Green tea w/ citrus L- Wendys sm chili and side salad, with low fat dressing S- 1.5 cup of kettle corn D- 13 boiled meatballs (Yikes... but they were good) 4/23/06 B- woke up kinda late, had tea and water L- foot long corn dog and half of a funnel cake with powdered sugar from Six Flags D- Too full from lunch. I did dring another tea. 4/24/06 B- Steak, egg and cheese bagel from Micky D's L- Tender crisp salad w/ honey mustard dressing D- boiled meatballs and mashed potatos

Jacqui, Wow, that is very inspirational!! I also started off slow, quickly picking up the pace. It's been not even two months and I am already seeing results. Which is motivating me to work even harder. Prior to my move from Cleveland, OH to Maryland, I also had a treadmill, but sold it because I just didnt feel like moving it. BIG MISTAKE and I am already looking to buy another. Luckily for me, besides my dogs, I have a lot of free time for me. So I get out in the morning before work and walk, after work walk (a little) and doing a few step classes. I hope one day to be able to run, for long periods, without falling to the ground grasping for air :faint: Congrats on your continued success!!!

Hello Ladies (and any Gents out there) I dont have everyone's email address, so I will post it here. My hubby and I are going on a cruise next year and wanted to extend a "Come on and join us" I think this would be lots of fun and a way to reward ourselves for our weight loss. Carnival Triumph- Eastern Carribean sailing Departs Saturday, January 27 returns Saturday, February 3 (7 day cruise) We will be leaving out of Miami, with ports of call to San Juan, PR, St. Thomas, USVI, and St. Maarten

Thursday: none today... Friday: 3 mi in the a.m. Did my 3 miles Saturday: Step aerobics class and 6 mi in the p.m. Did my step class in the morning, but only did 1.5 mi today Sunday: 9 mi- only was able to get in 8 miles, but I went to the gym and did 1/2 hour weight training and 1/2 hour waterobics Monday: 6 miles in the a.m. and 6 in the pm or maybe a step class- six in the am is rough!... I can only do 3 before work!!! Tuesday: 6miles after work- got in 3 miles before TOPS Wednesday: 3 mi in the a.m. and double step in the pm- did 3 miles this morning and double step at the gym. Thursday; 6 in the p.m. 3 miles this morning, step aerobics in the evening Friday: 3 in the a.m and maybe 3 in the p.m. took the day off Saturday: 3mi in the a.m before class 3mi before class then six miles after 33.5 miles for the week yeahhhh!!!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

It start to light up around 6, but I usually get there around 6:45, after I drop Hubby off. Besides waking, I do step aerobics, a lil swimming (just a lil) weight machines at the gym, although I must say I havent really done the weights this past couple of weeks like I should. But my biggest issue is that I need to do a WHOLE LOT MORE CRUNCHES!!! I am losing every where except in the "el estomago" I will try to get more in... when I post excercise goals for next week, I will be sure to add that in. thanks for asking/reminding me!!!
