  1. Thank you. I have considered the fact that I might need more calories but I am not sure how to fit it in! On my drive to work, I have a protein shake. Around nine I have some yogurt. The lunch time I have some sliced turkey and around three I have a piece of cheese. And then for dinner I have some lean protein (no more than 2 ounces) Not sure I can get any more than that....also I'm not sure what else to eat, I've been pretty much stuck on yogurt cottage cheese lunch meat and tuna.
  2. I am just about seven weeks post op RNY… Started at 232 and now only down to 208… I am feeling discouraged and depressed as I would've expected to lose more by now. I average about 500 to 600 cal per day, with 60 to 70 g of protein. I have not lost any weight in the last four days. Not sure what to do here…☹️
  3. Pretty much only eating yogurt, cottage cheese and some ground meats...anything else?
  4. Thanks all. I have been pretty positive before and since my surgery so I think the emotional part is just catching up with me
  5. Going through the same thing to myself… bypass on 4/13, only down 23 pounds
  6. I am six weeks out from bypass… Feeling very discouraged, only 23 pounds lost, dealing with major constipation and can hardly eat anything other than yogurt and cottage cheese… I hope I didn't go through all of this for nothing
  7. Sounds like eating too fast or not chewing enough
  8. How far out are you?

  10. Wow...i am almost 6 weeks post RNY and i can only get about 70 grams of protein and 500 calories if I am lucky...still having trouble tolerating alot of variety of foods...so pretty much just yogurt, cottage cheese, canned chicken and beans..any other suggestions...only losing about 3.5-4 pounds a week...

  12. Me too...5 weeks out...20 pounds lost...

  15. I am just about 5 weeks post RNY....i cannot tolerate the chewable vitamins....any suggestions for really good liquid vitamins?
  16. Does anyone know if there's any connection between bypass and menstrual cramps? I had my bypass on March 13. This is my first period then and I am having the worst cramps I've ever had. Anyone experienced this? Or is it just a coincidence? Thank you
  17. 5 weeks out...can we have s/f frozen yogurt?
  18. I am one month post op and have pretty much only eaten cottage cheese, yogurt and fish...too afraid to try anything else...looking for some ideas for dinner...help
