    Cloud bread

Ive seen it made with Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese also. So that might be more on your plan. That being said, if your recipe is anything like mine there is less and a tbsp of cream cheese per cloud... HW 420 SW 347 CW 327 Sleeved April 10, 2017

    Can I drink a smoothie?

On my pre- op we were allowed smoothies made with up to a quarter cup of fruit, almond or soy milk and protein powder. HW 420 SW 347 CW 327 Sleeved April 10, 2017
  5. Did you already get a slow cooker? If not- go for an Instant Pot instead. It has a pressure cooker feature that is fabulous and you can make your own yogurt! Do a google search on Instant Pot recipes. There are a lot! HW 420 SW 347 CW 327 Sleeved April 10, 2017

    Finding myself

Thank you. Pills are not a magic cure for evwryone. But neither is insulin. Some need it, some don't. Sometimes you only need it for a while. HW 420 SW 347 CW 327 Sleeved April 10, 2017

    Baby Food?

It is pretty good. I'm doing okay. I'm allowed soft food now but the purreed stuff is a lot easier to get down. I am a terrible chewer and have to really concentrate on slowing down. But I feel good.

    Bread

Okay. So I understand that bread is bad. And that we are to basically avoid it forever. My question is- is this all bread? All bread-like products? What about things like no and low-carb bread or wraps? Are these going to be forever no-nos as well? HW 420 SW 347 CW 329 Sleeved April 10, 2017

I made a big pot of soup and pureed it well. It is a pea soup with some lactose free skim milk, chicken thighs and spinach. Seasoned with curry. Yum!! HW 420 SW 347 CW 327 Sleeved April 10, 2017

  15. Ha ha... So true. My husband is slim, trim and muscular. And he is getting so used to me giving him my leftovers because I cant finish something. And he gets to eat all the yummy/bad for me stuff... Tonight I showed him how to melt cheese around his pepperoni... None for me! But since "we are one" he gets to enjoy things on my behalf. Bread

That's what I wanted to hear. I get that I wont be eating foot long subs... Like ever again. And I made my peace with that a long time ago. I was just wondering about alternatives. I have a recipe for a "bread" that would be high protein as it is mostly made with egg-whites and oat fibre. Once I get past some of my soft food stages I am hoping to be able to introduce it. How long was your preop diet?

I did mine for 21 days. It was intense. Are you allowed protein shakes? One of the things I did was mix a protein shake with sugar/fat free jello pudding. Infound it quite filling. HW 420 SW 347 CW 334 Sleeved April 10, 2017

    Slooooow loss

Watch those nuts. Sneeky buggers. I find they stick with me way to long and hinder weight loss. It is also very easy to eat more of them than you intend. HW 420 SW 347 CW 334 Sleeved April 10, 2017
  24. Can liquids stretch a sleeve? I am in my 2nd week post op and still on full liquids. I can drink 8oz of liquids in a 20-30 min timeframe. I just worry that I'm going to stretch it before I start! HW 420 SW 347 CW 334 Sleeved April 10, 2017
