What about the gummy vitamins? Anyone have info on those. They seem to b all I can take. In multivitamin and Calcium. I also do 1 Vitamin D drop at night.
I can't take gummies my first month.

I'd recommend talking to them about letting you try the Patches and seeing how your blood work looks. I've been using them for 6 months and all is good. I admit, I only switched to them after someone else seeing my surgeon was a 'guinea pig' and tried them for a few months and did regular blood work as well. So they do seem to work, and I love that I don't have to chew anything, and it prevents me from having take them with food to prevent an upset stomach.
I know! I love the idea of them. Girl I've pleaded he just said there isn't enough research to back it. I find that strange because everyone I know who takes the patches have great success

I use the Centrum adult chewables (not the silver) it tastes like orange. I also take two calcium chews. And liquid Iron at the moment which tastes foul. Apparently I have to be on the liquid iron until 6 weeks post op... ugh
Why liquid iron? That sounds foul [emoji40]

Lol really maybe I caught him on a good day. I haven't seen him since nov 11th though. Had to lose the weight I gained. When I was in his office though he asked me plenty of questions answered mine and made me feel very comfortable. I'll see how he acts Thursday lol
Girl, are we talking about the same Dr.Chin? As in Dr. Chin who works with Fedorka in The inland empire? I almost canceled my surgery because he seemed so cold and disconnected.
However, I hear nothing but good things about his work. Did you lose the weight?

I've met Dr Chin once and he was awesome very excited for surgery on march 9th with him. This made me feel so much better seeing so many people that have had them as their surgeon. Now I really want these 6 days to fly by lol
I'm a day before you! He seems very anti social

Update please!? I'm with him and Dr. Chin

I'm all about the patches!! RNY 10/24. Down 82 pounds. Labs all back normal on the Patches.
That's awesome! Idk why my surgeon won't approve them [emoji848] does yours say they're fine?

I just ordered Bariatric Advantage Multi Vitamin which is a chewable and it is absolutely disgusting. Literally, makes me sick. The cool thing is that they have everything I need except Calcium so I'm only taking 2 Vitamins and 2 chewables per day. My surgeon did not approve me taking the patch and says their isn't enough research on them. Anyone have a better tasting multi vitamin that has everything? Trying to get this sorted before surgery next Wednesday
Thanks!

. My date is around the corner and some fear has to be expected. However, don't rush it. Surgeons are not going anywhere. I started classes for WLS at 16 and I wasn't ready to actually get the surgery until now, 24. I am grateful I waited and urge you to do the same. Otherwise you'll have potential regret even where there is success.

I had my surgery on 11/21/2016, and I have lost an average of 2.5 pounds a week over the past 7 weeks. I have lost a total of 17.6 pounds since my surgery.
I have had a week where I have lost over 5 pounds, and some weeks where I lost nothing, though. I would like to add that I haven't been exercising yet. I have had some issues after surgery - nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and I have already had to have my pouch dilated (at which point they found 5 ulcers) - all these things have kept me from being active. I can't wait to see how things go once I feel better and can exercise again.
What surgery did you get?

This is awesome! Much needed thanks for such encouraging words!
