  1. I had posted last week that I fell off the wagon but I did not qualify what I meant...do here goes I literally 900 calories per day instead of my usual 600 cal and I00 gms of carbs instead of my usual 50gms. I confessed, repented and got back to protein & excercise........ well I gained 5 pounds in 1 week.....which is mathematically impossible as I did not consume 20,000 additional calories in a week....so what gives? My Overall weight loss is 42 lbs in 3 months. At this point I will take a stall but gain ???? Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  3. You are one of the most helpful participants on this network. I am curious as to how you achieve 90 Gms of protein a day without a couple of protein shakes because it's difficult to eat the quantity of food Required to get that much amount of protein in 4 Meals a day. 4. At 8 weeks post op I was able to consume about 600 calories. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  6. 2 things triggered this fall....1 was a very stressful week & another was my over confidence with my 45 lb weight loss. A bad combo but a good lesson !!! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Yeah I started with a therapist but she was not a good fit & haven't had the motivation to find a new one. I guess I just found my motivation now didn't I [emoji23] [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. I am 3 month post op & 45 lbs lost.....but guys I blew it this week !!! Blew it big time. All of my bad habits crept back & I allowed myself to eat a ton of simple carbs. I ate frequently. I ate till I was uncomfortably full & experienced terrible guilt afterwards. It was as if the past 3 months didn't happen. I am so ashamed of myself but more importantly so worried that I may not get back on track tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  11. Emmyj thank goodness someone else has a similar take on this carb issue. I will have to eat this way for the rest of my life & I know 20 gms is not doable for me for the next 50 years. But 50-60 is !!!!!! Sent from my SM-G920P using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Hi Outsidematchinside I eat about 800 calories a day and most is protein but somehow the carbs sneak up. Sent from my SM-G920P using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. Blizair09 wow you are too discplined. I may unfriend you. Lol. [emoji12] [emoji12] Seriously though congrats. I just cannot do it that low. I have lost 40 lbs in the past 11 weeks but have 90 more lbs to go !!!! Sent from my SM-G920P using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. What amount of carbs do you loose the most weight on ? I have heard 20 gms is the ideal amount for Ketosis but I have found it nearly impossible to keep my carbs that low. I am at 60 gms daily. I continue to lose weight but I am very worried that it will stall due to that high carb amount. But 20 gms is not only not achievable but not sustainable either. Please share your carb counts & experience. Sent from my SM-G920P using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. Sorry guys I was addressing katyasmommy but you both offered such great insights as well. Thank you so much
  17. Wow..so good to hear.....So you were sleeved after me & you lost a lot more weight than me ......will you please share how many carbs you take in a day & how much exercise? What is your daily protein intake ?
  18. So my surgeon didn't give me intermittent goals either, just an end goal. You will see the rapid weight loss slow down & will even hit some stalls. Some very discouraging, frustrating & scary stalls. But just stay focused on your high protein, low carb & active lifestyle & you will get to your goal. I lost 30 pounds in the 1st 6 weeks...then a 2 week stall where o gained 2 pounds..YIKES. Now i am slowly starting to loose again. Age has a lot to do with it too. Younger you are the smoother your weight loss journey !!! Good luck.
  19. I am 2 months post op & I have lost 11%. Percent weightloss is more accurate to compare as people start off with different weights. What are you seeking to find out ?
  20. Lol Funny. Tell me what you would tell yourself in this situation
  21. Lost 30 lbs in 6 weeks & than a 2 week stall which is not budging.....I have been so strict the last week and yet no movement on the scale !!!! I want to eat a bagel and end my misery. I need some support you guys !!!

  23. Katyasmommy Thank you for sharing your story. I am going to try to wait it out & not sabotage my journey. I am encouraged by your story as in I don't feel I am alone in experiencing this horrible stall. Keep me posted when the scale moves.
  24. 3 days is maybe too soon for a 6 hour road trip. Pain, nausea & gas may make that trip miserable for you & others traveling with you IMHO.
  25. I had my surgery on 2.7.17 Lost 30 lbs post op. Now stalled & even gained a pound. Hoping its Water weight/PMS Very depressing.
