    Psych Eval

For me, it was pretty much easy. He asked the following questions: 1) Relationship with food 2) support system 3) Any history of depression. 4) any other mental illnesses Mines was pretty laid back as we talked a lot about myself and my life. I was very outgoing and open with him. I think it depends on the Pyschologist as well. Some have stated that the person they have spoken with is very judgemental and cold. It should not be bad though.

    Pre Op need support

I started my liquid diet on Sunday and I broke that same day. I have the option of cucumbers and those are the highlight of my day. I am not missing food now but when someone is eating, I remove myself from them. If a commercial comes on, I just look at my phone and drink water. Have you tried sugar free popsicles? I have some and they aren't that bad.

    HIV+ does anyone take Triumeq

Please do not be embarrassed. No one is going to judge you. I would say speak with your physician, they would be able to tell you if your medication will need to change. Good luck on this journey!!!😸
  5. My surgeon told me the same thing, I have horrible GERD now and he said it may get worst. He also said that you never know because everyone is different.

    Question about pain and recovery

I have not had my surgery as of yet but if it is anything like my ankle, I should be fine. I am returning back to work after 7 days for now. If I need the additional time, my job is aware and have the FML forms ready just in case. I do not think I will need to use them as I got board after the first 4 days. I will keep you posted as my Surgery is March 26th.
  7. I would tell her to not use food as her best friend when she got to college. I would tell her that this decision will be the hardest thing she would ever have to do but she will do it and be proud. I would inform her that she was almost going to end up like her dad (which she feared more than anything). I would hug her and say don't lose your love for adventure and the outdoors because it will keep you healthy and one day you will miss it. And most importantly, I would tell her that she is an awesome kid and will be an even more awesome adult. That people would look up to her and think she is brave because of the surgery she is getting. (But hope that would fix the habits before she would need it). I could go on for days about what I would tell my 16 year old self.
  8. I am looking forward to Virginia Beach and a much needed vacation.

  20. I think you need to reread my comment so you can realize that I was not speaking to you. YOUR opinion is your opinion, if you do not feel like Mexico is a good choice that is your opinion. However, do not come at me because I told her to look up topics regarding the surgery in another country (not at all mentioning you). Now I am not going to do a back and forth with a person of your level. Have a good day and next time read carefully before you post negatively.
  21. UMMMM.... Maybe you need to bring your attitude down to a Zero because my comment was not directed to you. You should read that I offered her an option. I did not Quote you nor read your Quote. The world does not revolve around you and what you have posted. To make sure I am talking to you, I have now Quoted you.
  22. Started my liquid diet today and finished editing my video for my channel on youtube. I am soo excited. Shockingly, I have not felt hungry yet. I guess its the water and jello as well. I am just excited for my new life to start.

One of my co-workers told me she was proud of me for taking care of my health. I felt nice to hear those words. Especially since I am the youngest in my department. They normally treat me like I am child but recently that has not been happening.

    Status Updates

Hi, I figured it out. It is something that needs to be enabled for the option to appear on the "+Create". To enable status updates. Do the following: 1) Click your username on the top right hand side (Then Click Account Settings) 2) On the right hand side, you will see edit profile. 3) Under entering your birthday, you will see "Enable Status Update". Then save it, it will show up like @biginjapan said.
  24. To change your city and state. Do the following: 1) Click your username on the top right hand side (Then Click Account Settings) 2) On the right hand side, you will see edit profile. 3) Scroll down and input the information you would like people to know. I hope that helps. Now, there are many people on here whom have gone to Mexico for surgery. Search some of the topics, as they also refer great surgeons that would help you.
