    Lost in the mail

I'm getting so impatient my documents were submitted over two weeks ago. I'm inpatient, and called to follow up with my insurance. They never received them so they had to be sent again. They finally got them on Monday so now I'm playing the waiting game. I have bcbs how long does it usually take.

    Insurance

I have bcbs all documents were mailed out last Tuesday to the insurance company. I called my insurance to confirm they received the documents from my doctor's office, but they haven't. The surgery coordinater thinks they could have got lost in the mail. She is resubmitting, and bcbs said they would take a fax instead of mailing them since it had already gotten lost. I'm beyond frustrated I want a surgery date. The anticipation is killing me, lol... Anyone else have this has happen?

    Insurance

I was super on top of things, I had all my tests completed a couple months ago. All I was waiting on was last doctor's note. My doctor told me to make sure to schedule appointments asap because sometimes the waiting is as couple months. When did you have surgery, or have you yet?

    Insurance

They ended up accepting it via fax because supposedly it got lost. I was approved today so only took three days for my insurance to make a decision. I'm would be having surgery 2 weeks earlier if it wasn't for that, ugggg.

I had a picture for missing year of a doctor's note. So they require that to be mailed.

    Getting excited

Has anyone started their liquid diet early. I'm trying to get use to not eating solids for a while. I am drinking a protein shake for breakfast and then for lunch, and then I eat a small dinner. Is this a bad idea? I have my last weigh in Tuesday, and everything will be submitted.

I was up 4 pounds last month will that affect my approval?

    Getting excited

Thanks you all. I've been drinking one for breakfast, lunch, and eating a small portion for something at dinner. Getting lots of water in
  15. Just curious how long it took you all to return back to work. I clean houses for a few friends. It's fairly easy I just dust, clean mirrors, vaccum, and the vaccum pretty much pulls it self. I do mop too. How long would it take me to get back to work?
  16. My BMI was still high when I had mine. When I was approved it was over 40, but by the time I had it done it was about 35. Some people have large boobs no matter what size they are. I would suggest asking your doctor for a letter of recommendation, and send you to a plastic surgeon.

    Returning to work

I had three csections, and did everything myself too. I also had my gallbladder removed, and was lifting an infant carrier a week later, my baby alone was 15 pounds then. Ive heard this is alot easier than both. I didn't take in pain meds after having my csections so I should be good. I just want to try to get back to cleaning after 2 weeks. I hope I feel like it by then. Thank you so much for your input it really puts me at ease

Thank you that makes me feel better. I have my last appointment to my Dr on the 4th, and then wait for the insurance approval, and surgery date.

    I'm ready

I talked to my doctor's office today, and I thought I had two more appointments until everything would be submitted. She informed me my insurance made some changes, and my last weigh in will be in three weeks, and everything will be submitted. I have bcbs. How long does it usually take for the approval process? I'm getting so excited, I cannot believe it is almost here. I'm struggling making changes because I'm in the faze eat everything I want because I won't be able to before long. Also I gained 4 pounds last month. Will that be an issue?

    I'm ready

Yes I was pretty excited I could possibly have surgery in April now, and I thought it would be end of May, or June. Congratulations to you. I have been worried alot about the weight gain, but I have been hearing alot of people do gain. It's so exciting!!!

    New to this and scared

Be careful not to loose too much if it looks like you can do it on your own insurance may not cover. I was told by my Dr not to let my BMI get too low
  23. ready_forchange

Can you lose too much weight preop?

I was told to not drop below 40 or insurance won't pay.
  24. I had a breast reduction it was the best decision of my life. You can still get it done even if you loose the weight. I lost 95 pounds before having it done, but they didn't shrink at all in size. Even if yours do your insurance will still approve because if they are sagging too low it can causes kin infection s.

    Height differences

I know my migraines are weight related I lost 95 pounds before, and gained it back and more, the migraines stopped after I lost weight. My feet pain I think is weight related, but I don't take any nsaids on a regular basis. I take imitrex, and I'm getting approval not Botox to treat migraines. I truly believe most of my feet pain will subside , but if not I will just have to deal with it.
