Yes my insurance approved the procedure. My Surgeon didn't give me a date until all approval process and tests were finished. I started the process back in November. How about you?

I am in a similar situation. 5'5" and 195 pounds with medical issues. My surgery date is May 11. I am glad to see that there are other like minded people who are doing it for a healthier and happier future. Keep me posted on your progress.

I am excited for you. I got mine yesterday but it is on a May 11. I will be cheering you all April sleevers.

Hi Ladies, I am a newbie here. I finally got through all my tests and clearance from insurance. I have a pre-op appt with my surgeon on April 3rd and that is when they will tell me my surgery date. They are planning for it to be in April too. I am so nervous and excited at the same time. Anyone having second thoughts? I sometimes question myself but then I have to convince myself that I am doing good for my health. I have diabetes and bad joint pain. Good luck to everyone who is getting sleeved next week. :-)
