I was told not to lift more than 20lbs for 4 weeks.

I know my doctor was very adamant about taking 5-10 minutes between each pill. I know it sounds crazy, but I am about a week out, same as you, and I personally haven't thrown any pills up yet. Maybe you can try to space out your pills a bit. It is so hard for me to remember not to just take them as I would before surgery, but it is definitely a rule of thumb I have been following for sure.
Wishing you so much luck in your journey!Deactivatedfatgal reacted to this -
Hi all!
I am on day 2 of being home and am starting to feel better each day. Even made it out of the house for a (short) walk!
My question is, when did you start feeling like yourself/ "normal" again?
My plan is to go back to work Tuesday of next week (6 days post op), have any of you returned to work around that time frame? Or do you recommend longer recovery time? I work in an office setting so not lifting anything really.
What are your thoughts? Sorry for all of the questions but I know there are some real pros out there that may have sound advice

Thank you everyone for the replies and hope you are all recovering well, and killin' it at the weight loss!! Have a great day

Hi everyone!
I am not sure if this has been answered anywhere already, but I thought I would ask if anyone has any pointers about the urination frequency. I have been going about every hour for the past several Hours. Is that normal? I feel like I always have to pee!
Also, did anyone have crazy, what feels like pressure, on their bladder the day of surgery and into the next morning?
I'm thinking it's gas, and am trying to walk around as much as I can.
Thank you

Great. Thank you so much for the reply and insight:) Glad to hear yours are healing well over time.Four years out and I can barely see my scars. There is only one that I can see easily. The incisions are small to begin with and then shrink and lighten with time. The one I can see is the "big" incision which was about 2" when it was fresh. Now it is less than 1" as a mature scar. Frankly the stretch marks on my stomach are way worse than my scars.

Hi all,
My surgery is schedule for the 15th of next month, and I am curious is anyone had any issues with their scarring after surgery. If ao, any products you used to minimize the scarring itself??
Thanks:)
