  1. Hi Beavuz I'm in Australia [emoji1037] so I'm not sure if the names are different but I buy these from the super market they ice filled packs with different flavours. I also crush ice mixed with chocolate whey protein added with a piece of banana and skim milk 'This helps my protein in take and also helps with the fluid intake. Mix it up a little I've made some concoctions that tasted vile but after a few attempts I found some that work Also clear soup goes down beautifully Hope this helps a little Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  4. 5 weeks post op Not hungry at all, enjoying drinking plenty of fluids from water, crushed ice with flavour toppings Love blended fruits / puree such as fresh pineapple is my favourite I hate my vitamin tablets takes half hour to get taste out of my mouth. Chocolate [emoji515] whey protein shake Make 3 servings in the morning and have one for brekkie one at lunch and one at night 120g of protein done I add ice, skim milk and low fat ice cream Tastes amazing and fills me up.   11. 3 .4 weeks post opSaw the dietician and surgeon today and nothing to expect dietician will ask what your eating and how your doing and weigh you and the surgeon he just smiled at the fact I'm down nearly 18kg he was ecstatic for me.   14. 3.4 weeks post op No issues with fluids but no hungry enough to start eating my soft diet, I'm really enjoying my whey Protein shakes chocolate with skim milk ice and low fat ice cream do my protein intake is fine, I'm drinking plenty of Water but I love my crushed ice with some fruit juice or diet flavouring My surgeon and dietician have adviced me not to stress about the eating it will come once I get used to my new stomach Good luck and I'm glad you doing well Cheers D Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

No ive never had it but Optifast vanilla is pretty good and I'm now using whey Protein chocolate I add skim milk ice and low fat vanilla It actually tastes amazing I'm 3.4 weeks post op and saw the dietician today and the surgeon and I did mention I was struggling to eat the soft diet and they both agreed no need to worry about the eating side it will come but must keep the protein going so I'm now 113kg down from 132kg and happy as Good luck with it all Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Gina999lov Good luck for tomorrow You'll be fine Just remember day after surgery is the worse - a bit of pain, maybe a little reflux but all in all for me anyway that was the worse day 2 onwards just enjoy the ride Sip sip sip plenty of fluids Crushed ice with some diet cordial or those icy poles worked wonders for me I'm 3.5 weeks after surgery and lost just under 50lbs Can't wait to see your posts Good luck with it all and enjoy the new healthier you.   20. Hi Jay I'm 3.5 weeks after op I've been having icy poles not diet just normal and I've been dropping so I don't think it's stalling your weight but then I'm no doctor call your surgeon and ask Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  22. Hey don't stress You can have one little cheat night prior to op. I rewarded myself a cheat night on day 10 on Optifast Don't go overboard but one cheat night is ok I had a beautiful tbone with veggies on day 10 Had shakes and soap during the day then had a my steak at night I still lost 8 kg on the 14 days Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
