  1. Hi there
I'm now in 7 month post op
I've been stuck on 97kg for nearly 2 months but I'm dropping in clothes size, so just keep doing what your doing, stay away from the scales for awhile. It will kick start again. I'm down 37kg and mentally weighing myself and seeing it not going down it's a real bummer on your brain. So keep an eye on your clothes as long as they are feeling like your losing then you probably are.
Stay strong in mind and you will start dropping in the scales also

  2. Hi Liz
Well good luck with it all and get ready to enjoy the journey (with many ups and Of course a few downs).
So your one week from surgery, I didn't get swelling but I did get the bloated feeling, I was sleeved 11/1/17 and have gone from 132.3kg to 96.3kg
It's going to be a life changer for you and although I'm still learning how to eat it's getting better
Good luck and feel free to message me if you need anything advice wise
    Cheers
    Domenic

  3. I tell them straight
    Yes I had the sleeve
And don't you wish your boyfriend looked hot like me [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
Anyone who tries to tell you they weight loss surgery was the easy way out has no bloody idea.
The life change, the struggles and remembering it's a life change not short term.
And in the end it's none of their business
I have been lucky because my support base is huge and encouraging

  4. Wow how r u managing this?

    Hey Muffyt

    I'm managing pretty well
Since my transformation to solids I must admit I haven't followed the diet to the letter but I'm not hungry therefore if I eat it's only really small portions. So I guess compared to pre op it's only a small amount but I'm lucky I'm handling Fluid intake quite well, so maybe because I'm drinking heaps it's satisfying me enough.
I'm still having a Protein Shake every morning which keeps me going
Since I posted I'm now down to 100.3kg
From 133kg so I guess it's working for me, Aldo I haven't started any exercise yet so I guess that could mean a little faster wright loss.
    Anyways I'm coping well
    Thank you for your message
    Regards
    Mr D

  6. Had my surgery last Thursday 02/02/2017. Surgery went well. Recovery has been interesting...first few days after there was alot of pain!! Normal, yes. But woah...couldnt do much at all. Wasnt happy being sent home after only 2 days in the hospital. But it helped me become independent. I have mobility now but iam ALWAYS without energy! Feeling lethargic all day. I havent been told to take any multi [/url] Vitamins  but i have a feeling my body needs them. I am wondering if i can have some hydrolites?? Just to help with my hydration?

    Thoughts?

Sent from my SM-G930F using   Water ,

I carry frozen Water bottles with me as drinking the iced water you get little amounts of water but that cold feeling really helps your dry mouth and thirst.

I'm still having my days when I'm weak, lothargic and irritated but that's only the body trying to adjust and the low energy intake,

Protein is a must? I'm taking whey Protein blended with ice, skim milk and a little piece of fruit, I prefer bananas. Also loving ice and watermelon blended together.

Nearly 50lbs down and best decision of my life

Good luck with it all and remember it does get easier but important to stay positive

    Cheers

    Hi J
They may. It be hunger cravings, it could be just mind over matter, just keep drinking fluids as much as you can, mix it up a little, crushed ice, blended Water melon with ice etc
Sip sip sip and keep sipping
The tiredness feeling week is only natural but it gets better I'm now 5 weeks post op and I have my days when I'm week and irritated but that's just your body getting settled
    You will be fine
    Good luck [emoji6]
