    Starting to feel better!

Hi Adrianne I like you had a real crappy next day after op. I had massive reflux issues and also stayed extra night in hospital, but Day 2 onwards all went well. If you can't get any satisfaction out of drinking or sip sip sip Crushed ice with a little cordial or icy poles have been my godsend It will help big time I was sleeved on 01/11/17 3.5 weeks after op and I'm down nearly 50pounds Good luck with it all ❤️ Just for the record - best decision of my life Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    "Food" consumption

Hi I was sleeved on the 11th Jan 2017 Crushed ice and those icy poles have been my godsend. After a few days of just crushed ice with a little cordial diet or non diet and those icy poles and I'm now able to drink fluids without any issues, my dietician and surgeon have told me no need to worry about eating if I didn't feel like it but to drink drink drink and I'm now doing ok 3 weeks after and have already lost 17kg Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. Hey John I was sleeved on the 01/11/17 and I'm doing really well 3 weeks a 1 day after surgery and I've lost 17kgs thus far I haven't been hungry what's so ever but thirsty as. So I'm enjoying Icy pols and cold fluids. Drinking fluids isn't an issue but it's all about sip sip sip, have forgotten. A few times due to extreme thirst and has to deal with that blockGe feeling but only lasted a few seconds So happy I decided to get sleeved Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. 3 weeks after surgery and I'm doing ok Lost 17kgs already and starting to feel like I've done the right thing. Day 1 was great and I was saying how good is this. Day 2 and was omg what have I done the pain and reflux was unbearable but soon Day 3 arrived and everything has settled. Going to see the dietician on Monday followed by the surgeon. I'm feeling a little week at times but no real discomfort in the stomach area. But I'm liking the ice and cool Water, some of those super doopers ice pop things (sorry for terrible discretion) I'm not hungry and my surgeon has told me not to worry if I'm not up to eating there will b plenty of time to catch up in eating. So for me it's all about being thirsty and dry, so I'm enjoying cold liquids with my Vitamin tablets and plenty of fluids - yes it's all about sip sip sip but a few times I've been so thirsty I have forgotten to sip and did get Done discomfort with that blockage feeling. I'm stoked at the result so far. Am starting to make one or two meals from the book given to me after surgery and will try to fluidly start eating a little pured recipes. Hope your all enjoying your new lives and soon the world will be your oyster. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
