  2. I totally understand I have been on purée for 5 weeks now. I can't eat eggs either no matter how they are cooked. I rely on soups and my protein mix in teas and no sugar added cocoa.. I am so ready to eat food.. good luck..
  3. I am having the same issue with water even warm water but I can drink decaf coffee, teas and no sugar added hot cocoa.. I'm truly frustrated. However I can eat ice and sugar free Popsicle
  4. So glad to read other people using genepro. I use it every day and I am almost 1 month post op and still on purée diet. I add it to my coffee, tea, cream of wheat and soups.. by far the best I have had since I can't stomach protein drinks anymore..
  5. Wow what a journey. 3/13/17 I will be 1 month post op with my bypass. Been on purée diet since day 3. I haven't been able to handle anything but yogurt, Popsicle, pudding, coffee and tea up until 3 days ago and now I am able to do cream of wheat and soups.. 2 more weeks of purée and then off to soft foods.. I have absolutely no regrets. I have lost 40 pounds since pre op diet..

  7. Oh yes my sugar free Popsicle are my lifesaver.. that's not bad diet.. and you had The gastric bypass?
  8. I do understand how you feel.. I am not wanting or craving bad foods I just want to eat/ chew meats
  9. I am curious on what kind of diet you were given for post with gastric bypass? For me purée for 6 weeks.. i am almost 2 weeks post op and really want to eat meats.. I find myself chewing on ice to help with the feeling of wanting to chew.
  10. I had bypass done on the 13th. I unfortunately got inflammation in my ribs on my left side. Omg painful and uncomfortable but that's the only pain I am in. I use gene pro for my Protein mix. I am only able to eat sugar free Popsicle, Gatorade, yogurt n Jello. I crave sweet foods which I honestly never hardly ate before..
  11. Yaaay.. sending prayers.. The gas pain is wicked and not fun.. but walk walk walk and remember it's only temporary and is a little hurdle to get over to the long term healthier you..

  13. I totally understand. I have major pain in my left side and rib cage.. it hurts to even take a breathe in. Today my dr did a chest x ray to rule out pneumonia. I don't know if I am hungry or not. So worried about not getting enough in so I think I am overdoing it..
  14. I didn't feel anything til I got home. They had me so drugged up while I was in hospital.. I am still suffering from gas and discomfort in my left side not fun.. hope all goes well for u
  15. How long did your gas pains last? I am still having gas pains 4 days post op.. very annoying and uncomfortable
  16. Had my bypass done 2/13/17.. doing pretty good I believe. Able to get my vitamins down and about 42 grams of protein. Still have some gas discomfort but other than that I'm well. Bye bye to diabetes and high blood pressure meds.. [emoji16]

  21. How are u doing with the clear liquid diet? For me it's no problem. The problem I have is this darn bowel prep lol.. just it's annoying lol

  23. She mixes it with about an ounce of Gatorade and takes it like a shot lol
