  9. I lost 20 pounds my first week, and didn't lose for the next 4 weeks. It's your body readjusting to everything.
  10. I use powdered peanut butter to make mine taste better, because mine also tastes terrible by itself.
  11. I'm only about a month or so post op, but has anyone ever had pain in their tailbone/coccyx when sitting?
  12. I was sleeved on 4/10/2017, and within the first week I had lost 20 pounds. (Started at 355 and ended up 335)I'd heard of the "3 week stall" but I didn't think it'd come after only a week... well it did. I remained my same weight for 3 weeks, but I didn't get too discouraged because my body fat percentage was going down and I lost 17 inches all around during that 3 weeks. Hopped on the scale this morning, and I was down to 329! My goal weight is around 235-240 but I'm sure it will change the closer I get to it, so I will see.
  13. I had my VSG on 4/10/17. My surgery weight was 355 and I managed to lose 20 pounds the first week. Since then, I've been at 335. I've done workouts/walks every day since surgery. I started stage 3 foods this week, and I'm getting my required amount of protein, water, and vitamins. Just want to know is everything okay?
  14. So, there's a local fitness group that's conducting a weight loss challenge, and the winner gets a free trip. I'm scheduled for WLS (sleeve) in 9 days, but I really want to do the challenge. Would entering the challenge be "cheating" since I'm getting surgery?

    Weight Loss Challenges

So I checked in with the club. They said they calculate for body fat loss and muscle gain/maintenance. If you're losing muscle, then you can't win. Fat loss only. With that being said, they told me I could still participate.
