Hey all!! Sleeved 1/30 and doing pretty well. Feel fortunate I haven't had any stalls yet. I lose each week sometimes only 2lbs but I've lost up to 5 in a week. I'm female 5' 5" and my goal weight is 145lbs.
SW: 315
Current: 248
Total lost: 67lbs!!
Hit my 3 month goal of 250. Next goal is to be under 220 which I haven't seen in over 10 years...then I'm full steam ahead to onederland!!tinaz09 reacted to this -
Not a photographer but I took 2 weeks off work and when I went back I was exhausted every day. Like come home at 5 and fall asleep. It took about a month and a half before I started feeling normal and started having energy to work out.

I've been in a steady downward spiral for about a month. I've been way too busy at work, searching for a home, haven't lost an additional pound, am struggling with eating too much, and am just generally stressed.I took a couple days off, and they were nice but here I am again.
I never had the post-surgical hormone explosion I've read about. I'm wondering if this is it. I am anxious and depressed and tired all the time. There are a number of things bothering me, but they're not new, and I don't know why they'd be a problem now and not any other time.
And one of those things is my body. Funny - I'm more unhappy about the extra flab around my middle now, at 163 pounds, than I was a year ago at 285. I feel fat.
And no, I don't have time to see a therapist. And yes, I'm on Wellbutrin and Xanax.
I feel for you I did have the emotional explosion and my monthly now is a more emotional experience then ever. I talked to my surgeons PA and she said your entire chemistry can change. That will impact how your body deals with stress and then may also impact how your body metabolizes the Wellbutrin and Xanax. Maybe a check with your doc who prescribes those to see if you need an adjustment?

I used Benadryl (orally) and it helped. The itching only lasts a few days.

I must be the exception. I had a 6 month requirement with monthly appointments and my surgeon was there for my 1st, 3rd and pre-op. His bedside manner was fantastic and he set the tone for his entire team. His PA, nurses, nutritionists and office people were amazing!! He was amazing to my family the day of surgery as well! Sorry for those who had a bad experience:(

Yeah I can't use Migraine meds because mine aren't caused like traditional Migraines are. Mine is due to muscle damage to my neck from 2 bad car accidents that cause my muscles to not be able to release themselves. Good news the massages work with proper upkeep. Sorry for you ladies who are in a worse place my sister in law has those meds and she gets bad.

Danaymacklin - My PCP office has DO's who are MDs but have additional training in the muscular system and take a holistic approach to pain relief. It's billed as a Doctor Visit on my insurance because it is since they are MDs. Basically the same if I were going on and getting injections. It's something to check out.

The no NSAIDs was a huge worry for me. I have had an Rx for 800mg for 2 years for my period and Migraines associated with neck trauma from a car accident. So my PCP got me into a therapist on staff there that counts as a doc visit for insurance for monthly massages which keep the migraines away. Still concerned with period was sleeved on Monday and started my period today so we will see how it goes but I'm hopeful with weight loss and better diet they will be normal again.

Did your surgeon give you Prilosec? Mine prescribed it in my IV while in the hospital and a 30 day prescription afterwards. It might help you. Hope you're feeling better soon!
