  2. Because I do a lot of heaving lifting (up to 40 lbs) over my head, I was out of work for 8 weeks. I would have never been able to go back at the two week mark. I stand and move constantly all day, 5-6 days per week with tons of bending and lifting.

  12. I did not keep it a secret. I tell people that ask me I needed help and I went and got it. Everyone is very supportive. Most know it's not the easy way out. They see what I'm going through. This is the most difficult thing I ever had to do, and I'm doing it. I will succeed without lying about it.
  13. I'm just over 3 months post op. I'm supposed to be eating a cup of food at each meal and 2 Snacks per day. I cannot get in the cup of food. More like a half a cup and not a crumb more or I'll puke and then I don't feel well for at least a half hour to 45 minutes after I eat. It's been like this since I started eating regular food. Doesn't matter which food it is, hot or cold, or if I eat it slow or fast. The result is always the same. Will this improve for me eventually?
  14. I remember being where you are right now. I feel your pain. I watered my down a bit and just constantly sipped on them. As soon as I was eating "food" regularly I stopped the protein drinks. They are the most disgusting part of the whole experience.

  16. I just had my gallbladder removed on Thur 3/30. It was same day surgery, easy compared to the sleeve. Just a little discomfort. I don't have the gallbladder pain on my side and back anymore, it's gone. My sleeve surgeon did the surgery.
  17. this happends to everyone at some point. I had a 2 week stall 2weeks after surgery. I really do think not getting in all the required fluids contributed to it. Hang in there, drink as much as you can.

  19. I'm 6 weeks po. I go about once every 4-5 days. It's a normal movement, not hard. I don't know what's going on. Hopefully I will become more regular soon.
  20. This is an awesome journey for all of us.

  22. I am 6 weeks post op and I still don't feel normal. Having a hard time getting all the fluid in but I'm doing it. I'm never hungry, at all and have to watch the clock to eat. Sometimes I'm busy and forget to eat. Can't wait to feel normal. I know I will get there.
  23. Might be blood pressure too low.

  25. I'm on week 4 of 8 weeks out because I do a lot of heavy lifting. I couldn't imagine going back to an active job after a week, I wasn't even feeling well enough to bend until after the 2nd week. Good luck to you.
  26. I am new here as well. I had my surgery one month ago. I'm down 42 lbs, 18 before surgery, 22 after. Two days after the surgery I asked myself, "what did you just do?" But things got better and I'm happy. I am looking forward to the future as a much smaller person with lots of energy. I congratulate you on moving forward with your decision to change your life for a healthy new you. You got this.
