I had my sleeve on Jan 17, 17. I have told only family and of course hubby knows. Everyone else Co-workers, friends etc. Will not know. My medical history is private. So I say just keep it to yourself and if and when you decide to tell someone other then family its up to you. Good luck and happy losing.

Lol. Madmanpbsgc. Good information. Funny thing, I just realized that I still suffer from anxiety. How I forgot that, who knows. With taking only 1 pill a day instead of 3. So on top off trying to stop taking pain meds. Trying to make sure l take my Vitamins and High Blood Pressure medicine then forgetting anxiety medicine. No wonder I'm feeling emotional. After seeing my sister have the sleeve. I researched and came to the conclusion this surgery is for me. Unlike waiting 6 months, I only had to wait 3 months. Dealing with Anxiety I was very nervous operation date January 17, 2017. The first day I was relieved that I groggy but awake because of the anesthesia. Second day walking, pain meds was something I looked forward to. I was tired and couldn't get any fluids down. Third day, ER visit chest pain, arm pain, back pain, gas pain and throat hurt. All test came back negative. No blood clots. Dehydrated had to have 3 bags of IV fluids. At this point I asked myself why did I do this? After talking to my surgeon and getting more advice from my nurse who had the sleeve done a year ago by the same Dr was very enlightening. Fourth day I'm more positive. Getting my Vitamins in and trying to get in 64 oz of Water. I'm sipping but I'm sure I'll get close to my water mark pretty quickly. Still have back pain but feeling better. I had my surgery Jan 17, that happens to me. I was told if you drink to fast or swallow to much at one time this happens. I drink more slowly and less intake. It also could be gas as well. Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App
