Dumping syndrome does not prevent sugars from being absorbed/weight gain. It's a physical response that causes cramping but it doesn't stop absorption entirely.
Supposedly, if you don't drink or eat too quickly while eating things with sugar you are less likely to dump because the food shouldn't be forced into the intestines too quickly. However, with the pyloric valve missing I am not sure it would be possible to manage dumping syndrome effectively.

You don't have to disclose the reason. Keep it to the minimum. Less they know the better, for me at least. Don't need any extra judges!

I'm on the second day of my liquid diet today lol and the first day was definitely the hardest for me. I don't feel as near death today as I did yesterday.

I had an awesome surgeon that performed such a good job I didn't need a fairy tale "god" to help with me..
I went back to work two weeks later doing an extremely physical job and have had no issues.
Wasn't tired just a a little fatigued for a couple of days.

Its not a rude statement at all!!.. if you believe in it that's ok I was just saying i didn't need a fairy tale thing to help me cause I had a great surgeon.. I believed in my surgeon I suppose u could say!..
There is no proof what so ever to say " your god" exists anyway..
I believe in what is here and now!..

I'm a 46H...and I like to tie the "girls" down ????...if I'm laying on my back for too long....I almost suffocated myself during a previous procedure....However, the FIRST thing I do when I get home...is escape out my bra..and fling my shoes in the closet...Ahhhh!!! FREEDOM????

I am 2.5 years out. I promise this will pass honey!! Your body has been through something incredible. You are essentially starving. That is going to be tough on anyone. This is "normal" for after surgery. Are you getting at least 500 mg of sodium a day? I know when I was getting less than that I felt faint.
I hope you feel better.
