really lovely pictures and you have gone (and continue to do) so well ... really inspirational!!!

Thank you. I'm a little down right now gained a few lbs. Been cheating. Went to 4 birthday parties in 1 month and didn't turn anything down. I'm back on track just gotta be accountable for my bad food decisions. I really love this new life and never wanna give it up food again. I wish you well on your journey too. One day at a time right?

Can someone tell me what i can eat 2 months out of sleeve surgery and is it normal to still have stomach and back pain

This may not be for everyone but in a typical day I would have a Protein Shake for Breakfast. A slice of ham or turkey wrapped around low-fat string cheese for mid morning snack a jif to go cup of Peanut Butter with an apple for lunch. A sensible dinner. Protein first always. I could only eat about 4 bites at a time. I would wait 30 mins and if I still felt hungry I'd go back to it. It's a mind game. Wrap your food up just as soon as u fill satisfied. Never eat till you fill full because by then you have overeaten. And make sure you don't drink when you eat. Drink plenty of Water. Which for me almost 2 years later is still hard to try and get it in. I haven't touched a soda or sweet tea since surgery. Stick to your diet low sugar mostly sugar free everything high protein don't overeat and you won't stretch out your stomach. I lost 100 lbs in 5 months. 1 year and 9 months later I'm down 130 lbs and I've kept it off. Hope this helps. Message me anytime if you need food ideas. Always helps to have a weight loss buddy. I had one.

Looking great bro. I'm an inch shorter but at my heaviest in March 2018 I was almost 20lbs heavier. At surgery I was 342. I've hit the 100lb loss mark but have been yo-yoing the past few months. Not too concerned so much as it was the holidays and I cheated like a BOSS (also have not started working out at all and havn't walked in months). I will get back on it but the diet for now is back on track at least. CONGRATS TO YOU SIR @nenes78 You've done great and I wish you only the best to come!!!!!!

You look amazing. The hard work really shows.

You look fantastic! You're an inspiration for me to keep going! I'm one year and eight months in. I started at 328 and got down to 237...but I've gained some back and I'm trying to get motivated to get back on track. Seeing your progress is so wonderful :) Congrats!

Thank you. I gained a few lbs in the winter but I'm not letting it set me back. I'm just staying active and still keeping with the lifestyle changes I accepted when I had the surgery. I leave the word diet out of my vocabulary. I haven't touched a soda or sweet tea since surgery. I don't eat a lot of bread. Limit sugar. And most important stay moving. You are doing great. Never give up just keep moving on. I'm like a teenager I want to try everything now.

  5. I had gastric sleeve june 2017. Starting weight 330 . day of surgery 319. I am now 199 and holding. I went from a size 24 to a size 12. I've lost 131 lbs and been able to keep it off. I'm still a work in progress but I'm happy. My goal is to lose down to 175. And hopefully with my active lifestyle and the life changes I've made I'll do it this summer.

  6. I was sleeved 6/22/17 my highest weight was 330 weight day of surgery 319 today I weigh 195. I do fluctuate between 195 to 200. I went from a size 4X and acsize 26w pants now I'm a size large top size 12 pants. I still wanna lose 20 more lbs. I have taken on a more active lifestyle trying new things. I just did a 7 miles hike last weekend. I would have never done that before. I would have had to of been stranded in the desert with the Oasis 7 miles in sight to even think about it before. I walk, hula hoop, dance, anything to keep moving. If I find myself having a lazy day I tell myself you are not this person anymore. Find something to do. It's just a new way of life. I never want to go back. First pic is my before at 330lbs FB_IMG_1523770873079.jpg 20180512_135307.jpg 20180507_195347.jpg 0428180958a.jpg 20180427_202309.jpg 20180303_155916.jpg 20180202_143729.jpg

  7. I've found a great chicken salad recipe yesterday. It was delicious . You get Protein from the chicken. And the celery is very high in Fiber. Which is needed when eating high protein. Thought I'd pass it on. Hope you like and feel free to substitute ingredients to your liking.

This is for a large bowl. Many meals

1 rotisserie chicken remove skin and dice.

    4 stalks celery diced

    1 bunch green onions diced

8 oz fat free sour cream

1/2 cup fat free mayo or LF

4 strips bacon cooked & crumbled

    1 tsp paprika

    1 tsp salt

    1/2 cup roasted chopped pecans

    1 tsp soy sauce

    Mix all ingredients except chicken

    Once combined stir in chicken.

Best if chilled for 2 hours

    You can add more ingredients

Like grapes ,dried cranberries, Apple, raisins

    Anything healthy that adds flavor

    Hope you enjoy.

Awesome. I hope I reach my goal by the spring. Just 40 to go. Was the last bit harder to lose. I've slowed down a bit now.

  9. Great work. I'm down 105 and was at a party recently where I ran into someone I have known for 20 years but hadn't seen in a year. She introduced herself to me - I reminded her of who I was. She was so embarrassed, she excused herself to get another drink.

Just recently had a patient come into the Dr office I work at. I hadn't seen in over a year. She also took care of my grandmother for years. I checked her in and she was acting weird. She then asked where I was. I had to point at myself. She was shocked and amazed. Now that made me feel great.

  10. Sounds great to me,I can't wait,I'm in hopes to lose 17 more pounds to get the surgery, I don't no how long it takes after I lose the 17 pounds, before they do the surgery, but I no i need it for health reasons to,I'm tired of all the meds, high blood pressure, anxiety, bones hurt bad knees, all bad back,I can't even take shower without getting out of breath, its bad I can't exercise, due to my hip that needs replaced, and my knee also, and back,n neck,I feel broken,I have no energy at all,I can't even play with my grandkids.

I felt the same way. If I'd have known just losing weight would fix 90% of my health problems I would have done it years ago. No more meds, my anxiety and depression are better, no more blood pressure or cholesterol meds, I'm off everything. I wasted a lot of years I wish I could get back with my kids. But my future grandkids are gonna have an active, fit, granny.

  11. Congrats on 114 down. Fantastic work.
It's weird to hear people to tell you to stop losing weight ...right? It's hard enough for you to wrap your head around your physical appearance. I think you can understand when people around you struggle with it. Smile and reassure them you are still at a healthy weight/bmi even at your goal.

I'm still 40 from goal. And under clothes I can still see where I need to lose but If I never lose another lb I'm happy and healthier for It. It's super weird to hear people say I'm good and shouldn't lose any more. One positive is I'm tall so I can carry my weight well. So people don't realize I'm still over 200 lbs. I started this for me and I'll finish or me
I gotta learn to accept that it's a big change for family and friends as well.

  12. I'm 5 months out after gastric sleeve. I've lost 114 lbs. Never thought I'd lose so fast. Now people seem to give me a hard time saying I've lost enough. To stop. My goal is 165 I'm currently 205. So 40 more to go. No regrets. Best decision I've ever made. Below is before and agter. At 100 lbs lost FB_IMG_1511810050044.jpg FB_IMG_1511896643848.jpg
