    Huge influx of random flirting

Exactly. I met my wife on Match.com 9 years ago and she said guys would send her d**k pics all the time and that she was disgusted by it. Some men are just idiots. I have never sent a picture of mine to a woman, then again I am hung like a short stack of dimes 😭😭😭

    Huge influx of random flirting

I am browsing this at work, if it’s about to get NSFW I need a heads up. I don’t want to be scrolling this thread only to see spread eagles and schwanns picks.

    Huge influx of random flirting

Here’s the stupid part, women do not want pics of some random dudes donger. In the history of dating, a random donger pic has never led to a date led alone a long term relationship. Some men are so stupid. And no guy really ever wants pics of women spread eagle, no matter what they say... 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Spread eagle might be a bit much. Nearly nakeds, titty shots, things like that are always fun.

Send me your email address and I will hit you up with a pic of my schwanns free of charge. All kidding aside I had so much game I got hit on all the time even when I weighed 440 pounds. I have noticed women seem to smile at me more now that I am down 90 pounds.

    Help, I'm hungry AGAIN!

I am in the same boat as you. I had lost 110 pounds but have since put 20 back on. I am about 14 months out. The restriction is still there to an extent but I can eat more that I used to right after surgery.

    8 months after surgery

I will message you directly, don’t feel like putting my business out here for everyone to see.

    8 months after surgery

I am in the same boat. I have actually gained 15-20 pounds by grazing and making bad choices. I am trying to get it under control but once you slip it gets easier and easier to make poor choices.

    Was sleeved on 11/21

It will pass with time. I can drink normally now. I am about 14 months out.

    Anyone regretting this?

This thread got way out of hand. There are usually two types of responses you will get here, the soft cushy supportive ones and then the harsh deal with it ones. I think some of the vets are just jaded from hearing the same complaints all the time and it shows in their response. I took some time off from here because I got burned out pretty quickly, things are essentially the same as when I left. I don’t mean to come across as a dick, but we are talking about major life altering surgery here. Of course it is not going to be easy and there are going to be issues and complications. So, I apologize if I offended anyone as that was not my intention. I just don’t like to sugarcoat things anymore either. Sounds like the OP is still having some issues but showing some improvement hopefully everything will continue to get better.

That’s awesome. Keep up the good work
  12. I have to agree with @abefroman329 The first couple days I had huge buyers remorse from the pain and not being able to eat. As the days went by it got easier and as the pounds started coming off it really helped a lot. I do not regret it at all now that I am 14 months out. The weight loss has stopped and I have actually started to gain but it is what it is.

Yowza, you look great. Dare I say hot. You look healthier and happier. Keep it up.

    Anyone regretting this?

I have to agree with Matt on this one. Stop whining and deal with it. You can’t go back in time and you cannot get your stomach put back in. Your only option now is to work through it and find something that works. Or go back to the hospital and get IV fluids put in.
  15. Desk job and I only missed 4 working days. With the weekend it was like a full week.
  16. Yeah dude, sounds pretty gross and pretty serious. Never mind skin removal surgery right now, you need to get it looked at before it gets worse. What if it turns into something serious? I don’t want to scare you, but it could end up really bad if you don’t get it treated.
  17. I say go with Bypass. I had the sleeve done and while I have had success to a certain extent, I wish I would have had bypass. Especially for the amount of weight I needed to lose. The only thing that worried me about bypass was dumping syndrome. As far as hunger hormone, in my opinion that is really over exaggerated. I was starving the morning after surgery. I don’t feel like getting into the stupid debate about real hunger and head hunger and all that. I still get hungry now, maybe not like I used to but I still feel hunger. Ultimately the choice is up to you and your surgeon, but if I could go back and start over I would have gone with bypass.
  18. My post got deleted. Geez, people are too sensitive and can’t take a joke. Ok, cheats. Let’s see, can’t really think of anything too dramatic. In my second week of recovery, I did eat a bunch of ground turkey and threw up in the kitchen sink. That was pretty uncool.

How did you pick your user name?

It is easily one of my all time favorite movies. Just so many good lines and memorable quotes. The dialogue is what makes it so good, along with the awesome job they did in casting the characters.

How did you pick your user name?

Walter Sobchak is a character from The Big Lebowski. One of my all time favorite movies. John Goodman portrays him and should have won an academy award for how well he plays the part. He is a Vietnam veteran with serious PTSD and just an awesome character.

    Sort of freaking out

Everyone gets cold feet right before surgery. It is normal. You will be fine. The restriction only last about 12 months so make the most of it and retrain your brain. I am 15 months and have started to gain due to falling back into old habits. I don’t drink so I don’t know how that will affect you. But I have heard others say they get drunk of like one drink after VSG.

    Pre-Op Journey

Welcome. I hope your journey goes smooth. I suffer from OCD and Major Depressive Disorder. I am about 15 months post op. Feel free to DM if you have any questions.
  23. Confession: In college I jammed my roommates younger sister. Am I doing this right?

    Post op hunger

Those are slider foods, they won’t make you feel restriction. Once you can eat dense protein you will feel it. I dare you to eat some chicken breast and see how you feel. Once you are cleared for it of course, I don’t want you rupturing your staple line. Everyone feels the same way right after surgery. I went through it as well. Hang around here long enough and you will see other noobs asking the same question and saying the same things about restriction.

    Post op hunger

What are you eating? Liquids and slider foods will go right through you and you won’t feel restriction. Once you get into dense protein you will feel full. The sleeve can only do so much, make the changes you need to make now. I am 15 months out and regaining weight.
