  3. HW: 280 SW: 256 CW: 194 I had a gastric bypass 1/16/17. It has been a struggle, but I'm trying my best to stay positive.
  4. Lately I don't want protein drinks, eggs, yogurt...the only thing my stomach does well with is toast/ crackers but I know I'm not supposed to have too much of that. My fluids can be better. I try my best to drink water constantly but I often get dry mouth so I know it's not enough. As for BMs I'm either constipated or have the runs.
  5. Hey everyone. I'm about 6 weeks post op. Over the past few days I've been having some serious food aversions. I'm sure I'm not eating enough, but all of a sudden, The thought of eating most foods makes me want to vomit. Has anyone else experienced this?
  6. No worries. I lost about the same when I was 2 weeks post op. Try not to get discouraged. We get so caught up with comparing ourselves to others. Remember it's a personal journey and the weight will come off in time. 10 pounds in two weeks is great!!!
  7. I'm about 22 days post op and I have the same thing. It's like a growl/gurgling situation. A friend told me it could be gas build up but I'm really not sure. You're definitely not alone though. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. It's scary for me too. My son will be two in April. My divorce was finalized in December and I had my bypass in January. Everything happened so close together. But you just have to stay positive and know that life will work out the way it's supposed to. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. You are beautiful! Ignore the ignorant comments. People will always talk about you when that are miserable with their own lives. Keep doing what's best for you and block out the negativity. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. I chose Bypass because I was a diabetic and had pretty bad acid reflux. I'm only 6 days post op and my sugar levels are totally normal. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Yup. Totally normal. I had my surgery Monday. Gained a few after I got home and then this morning I woke up and was 3 pounds lighter than my surgery date. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. How long does it take you to get down the 2 premier Protein shakes? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  16. Hey everyone. I'm 3 days post op and was told to start my Protein shakes, creamy Soups, yogurt, etc today. Has anyone else had trouble adjusting so soon? It's hard enough for my to get 4oz of Water down in an hour. How can I get 60-80grams of protein? I'm still a bit confused on the eating schedule. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. I'm getting my surgery tomorrow and I'm doing the clear liquid phase. Did anyone else feel super light headed? I'm so drained and exhausted all day long. I slept 12+ hours last night and I'm struggling to keep productive. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. Congrats!!! My surgery is the 16th. You have the right attitude. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. Hey Everyone, I'm super nervous. My surgery was supposed to be 1/26 but I got a call yesterday asking if I could go January 16th instead. Everything is happening super fast. I'm most nervous about eating post-op. Not sure if my rambling is making much sense, but I just needed to vent a little. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
