Post Op Food Woes

Hey everyone. I'm 3 days post op and was told to start my Protein shakes, creamy Soups, yogurt, etc today. Has anyone else had trouble adjusting so soon? It's hard enough for my to get 4oz of Water down in an hour. How can I get 60-80grams of protein? I'm still a bit confused on the eating schedule.

I get my 60 by drinking 2 premier Protein shakes. Each has a whopping 30 MG of protein each! They taste great too and come in different flavors. You can get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry at costco.

How long does it take you to get down the 2 premier Protein shakes?

Just do the best you can! I could only get about 40 grams of protein for the first two months or so. It gets easier later to add more in and once you can have more food choices. Just sip slowly. I probably tried to guzzle and that hurt. You learn quick. Hang in there. It gets easier. :)
