Nervous. Surgery this Monday 1/16

Hey Everyone,

I'm super nervous. My surgery was supposed to be 1/26 but I got a call yesterday asking if I could go January 16th instead. Everything is happening super fast. I'm most nervous about eating post-op. Not sure if my rambling is making much sense, but I just needed to vent a little.

Drink lots of water!!!! I drank Water till 11:59pm. The first two days are hard. Get walking as soon as they let you. First day they would only allow me ice and my mouth got so dry. Second day I was cleared to drink water, broth, Jello and ice pops sugar free of course. It's very emotional too. Have a buddy be there to support you. Keep us posted. I had mine on the ninth of January.

Everyone is nervous so don't worry about that aspect. If you have faith in your doctor, then be confident that all will go as planned and you will be just fine, They will take care of you in the hospital and show you what you need to do. Keep reading the info they gave you and follow the rules and all will be well. Good luck and see you on the "loser's bench"
