  1. Most amazing medical experience. Clean doesn't describe CER. Looks like you can eat off the floors. The rooms feel very Zen or spa like. You will never meet such a friendly, caring medical staff. When was the last time your Dr gave an endearing hug and acted as if they cared? Best medical experience of my life. Hotel is LOVELY too, you feel like you are on a real vacation. Feel free to message anything you would like to know. I just got home last night from Tijuana.

Hi! Does CER have private patient rooms & bathrooms? I'm headed there for surgery in a few weeks (no date set, coordinator on vacation) so just curious, thanks!

Yes, I have pics of the room and the bathroom....like a mini suite. I went by myself, so I took pics and sent to my husband. If you want to email ginsin007@aol. I would be happy to send you pics I took. I thought it felt Zen like, very nice. They bring you fresh towels in the mornings, just like a hotel. Very nice.
thanks so much! My name is Cheryl, I will email you

  2. Hello everyone, I am new here and would really love some feedback from sleevers that had the procedure in Tijuana with Dr Garcia. I am a single mother of 4 wonderful children, which makes me nervous as heck if anything was to go wrong. I am scheduled for January 28th!! I have all kind if emotions and questions. Any feedback would help!!

  4. Hello all! Yes, I know a passport is required. Mine expired. I've made an appt with the passport agency. They require proof of international travel for the process to be expedited. However I will be flying to San Diego & transported by van to Tijuana (very common for safety for these procedures). Has anyone else been in this position? Do you know if the passport agency will provide a passport quickly if a Medical letter is provided?

  5. Update: Thank you so much for all your love and prayers it's meant so much to me . Things are very cloudy among the days inside what seemed like a on and off nap . I did after 2 days start to tolerate liquids and got to go home but returned in less than 24hrs for severe dehydration . The pain pills and just swallowing any substance was difficult. So that was a total of 10 days in the hospital. Continuous fluids all the time . I had to have a midline iv put into my shoulder because my veins became flat. There came a point were i aware and felt like there was something wrong because I had no desire to eat or drink but felt sick. So I began slowly to the extreme dripping liquids then tiny sips etc. Broths lots of Water and Protein inside of my Water every day is a constant struggle but I believe it is normal at this point. Although I am in a full liquid diet which allows things like mashed potatoes and puréed types of foods my stomach does not like it .I have tried very bland eggs I've tried eggs in every form(but fried) and my stomach just does not like eggs ..it's weird...but my brain does ..lol.I've decided to just continue with focusing on my Protein and water and trying low-calorie watery consistency types of foods. I Do vomits every other day I feel like things are getting better daily. For me piling in so many pills as well as protein in different forms liquid etc. and as well as trying to drink enough water it is very filling and a daily struggle.

  6. I am 100% self pay because my husbands insurance does not cover ANY bariatric services. Although we are having to take a loan out, I can book my surgery in 2 weeks! I am going to Mexico and couldn't be happier with my decision. Financially, it will be a struggle but my health will only deteriorate the longer I have to wait. Best wishes to you!

Hi! Where in Mexico are you going & who did you use for the loan? Im approved at tijuanabariatrics.com w/ Dr Vazquez.
