OK I have been doing everything the nutritionist wants me to do. And I am doing good. But should I be doing the small bites and all that. I do not have my date yet (fingers crossed)but I only have my phsy appt. On the 16th. So I am just wondering how to follow the before diet....

Well tomorrow is my big day. I am so nervous, I meet the surgeon. So hopefully I will find out tomorrow if she thinks I am a good candidate for the Sleeve. Wish me luck, I really want this I am so ready. 2 years thinking about having the surgery. I was worried about something going wrong and I kept trying to lose on my own. But I would creep right back up. I am 47 I want to enjoy life.

CongratsI am so pleased to say that Jan 5 marked my one month surgiversary and I am down 24 lbs from my surgery day weight of 219 lbs ( currently 195 lbs). But the real kicker is my starting weight pre op was 242 lbs so total lost is 47 lbs , yessss. Also, my birthday was Jan 5 as well and I am a beautiful 39 years young may I add. So excited and looking forward to more success in near future. My goal is 150 lbs. motivation is on point to reach it.

That is true I say Now I get cocky when I lose weight and then it comes back. But I am so ready for this I believe I will keep it off. I think of it like this. If someone came and got me all set up paid all my bills gave me a good job and all new stuff and all I have to do is keep it up and it is all mine. U bet ur butt I would and that's what I think about weight loss surgery.

???? my bmi is 37 with sleep apnea and high cholesterol plus acid reflux. I have yoyo’ed for years. It is not the losing weight it is keeping it off I am 47 and just want health and happiness. And as you can tell I am really making sure this is for me

So I am waiting for my very first appointment. So I am just praying I could get the surgery. So I figured I would come on here and see how other people are after and pre date. I also wanted to see if anyone will let me know how it is from the point you decide you want this to the point it is done. How hard is it to get approved.
Any comments will help ????
