  1. As the weight falls off and the self confidence grows I have come to realize there is nothing I can do about the genetic structure I am born with. That being said anyone who takes issue with it has issues of their own. Remember, if you land a 747 in the Grand Canyon, even the 747 will look small.

  2. Hi Ebony, I can't say that I no longer have diabetes. But, I can say, I haven't had to take any medicine since I ve had the surgery Feb 20th. Amazing to me because I was where you are. Just remember everybody is different . Well wishes to you.

  3. I totally get it!!! But, what i realized is that without this tool I see where I would've only continued in my foolishness with food. It's know different than a no good man (or woman) that you won't leave, a dead end job that you stay at. ITS TIME TO shake THINGS UP!!!! GET OUT OF "THE FAT THOUGHT" FRAME OF MIND. We've been their far to long. When i cook for others or go get dinner for others, I do wish that I could. BUT IM GLAD THAT I CANT. IM sooo weak in my own strength and I know I would've have fallen over and over again and remained in my rut. My new normal is no way easy, but I'm sooo glad about it!!! Thank you Jesus. Just like any other lost that you have no control over, it get better with time. There's sooo many different variations to the food that you use to eat, just a healthier version of it. I JUST LOVE THAT!!! It will be ok....BELIEVE THAT IT WILL...KICK DEPRESSION TO THE SAME CURVE YOU KICKED OTHER PROBLEMATIC THINGS IN OUR LIVES. You've taken charge of you life. NOW WALK LIKE A BOSS AND GO GET YOUR BLESSINGS!!! HAPPY EASTER #RESURRECTEDFEB20thSLEEVER2017

  4. Yep pretty much, I wrote exactly what I meant and I am glad you understood it as I wrote it.
You can't love someone more than they love themselves and you can't fix them. If her friend is eating that bad when they are watching, what do think they are doing when no one is around?
Her friend has to live in their body and they have to make the right choices.
You can take an addict to rehab but you can't make them get clean. Her friend has been to rehab and still is using.
The program that her friend is in, isn't offering the right support, and that everything in moderation idea is fail. The friend is losing right now because they are 2 months out, but by the time they are 6 months they are really going to be pigging out. It is pretty obvious her friend is not only a food addict but also has a high pain tolerance. That is the only way they can eat like that, it has to be painful. and not stop. Someone that dedicated to screwing up, is not going to stop. An intervention might actually make worse because the friend will secret eat.
She can't save her friend, her friend has to do the work.
I say this as a friend that tried to save a friend. I have a friend, well actually not anymore but that is a different topic, that had RNY about 3 year before I had the sleeve. Flash forward I am 1 year post op, and still losing and they have regained, after never even getting close to goal. I went through my entire kitchen, all my cabinets took pictures of everything I eat, provided links to stuff to buy, provided meal plans, recipes, cooked live and let them watch me cook healthy recipes. They never made it one week eating right. Eating right, losing weight isn't their priority. And this person ASKED for my help and still wasn't motivated.
You have to be highly motivated deeply on a personal level to be successful at weight loss, no one else can do it for you.
OP cannot save their friend, they are spinning their wheels. Go volunteer with the Girl Scouts, they actually want the help.

KMLS...REAL TALK....100, I promise I be looking for those lips on post like this because I KNOW YOU WONT LET ME DOWN!!!!!!! YOU GOING TO TELL IT LIKE IT T.I. KEEP IT TRILL MY SISTER.

  5. I'm having no luck either. I've sent emails to 85 different women the past week and got 1 response which I think she was just being polite. I stopped online dating and am looking for pets to adopt in my area.

  6. Many blessing to all of you upcoming sleevers. Don't forget to take God with you. Through all the up and downs that may come during your first few days of post op just know, IT WILL BE OK!!! I wish you all the success and strength that you will need during this journey. There's plenty of room for all of you on the LOSERS BENCH. CHEERS [emoji898][emoji898][emoji898][emoji898] to us!!! 7. Me me me!!! I'm staying away from the scale but all my clothes no longer fit. I still have some pain. Had a ultra sound this morning to check gall bladder , won't know results until my doctor receives them. Other than that...IM GREAT and happy with my progress. How are you Misskim? Look at you Katyasmommy...gooooo you!!!

  8. I have yet to get a response on here & to be honest I'm not sure I'm posting/messaging correctly. Is this app still active?

I felt the same way!!![emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. I just don't post as much. Regardless of what forum your in, if you ask a question or comment you should get some sort of response. This is SOCIAL media....Right???! So now I'm more of a lurker[emoji102][emoji102][emoji102][emoji102].

  9. I don't know what some people went through and I'm not much of a sucker. BUT mine hurt, and it's still has a tender but healing hurt. I'm 35 days out, I see some people says they didn't experience much pain. Everyone is different OR SOMEBODY IS LIEING!!!![emoji23]

  10. Yes it is or you will hurt yourself. I was hungry a few days after surgery and it wasn't head hunger. Sometimes now I have head hunger and regular hunger. I make sure I follow all guidelines though. It's really not worth it, I did this for a reason and I think all the time that I would still be in the same boat if I could still eat like I use to. I'm 35 days out, I still feel some tenderness hurt some constipation...still no regrets. Many blessings on ur surgery date and new journey.

  11. My post was in no way passive aggressive. Perhaps in the future it may be better not to make assumptions and perhaps not make posts if your expectation is that everyone is going to agree with you 100%. Otherwise, you might have better satisfaction just talking to yourself in the mirror.
