    Having mixed feelings

This decision is yours to make. You have to do hats best for you. In all things there will be some that has some issues and your no different than any of us. Immso glad that I knew this was meant for me, I feel God lead me to this and made all the curves staight. I want going to let fear drive me away from hat I knew God had done and I TRUST GOD!!! I read someone said the closer you get to surgery stay off of this site because EVERYTHING scares you, and your going to die on the table and your going to have a leak all that could happen Will happen to you[emoji23][emoji23]. I Had mine on Feb 20th and I prayed about it and here I am today. The only problem that I did have was some constipation....no gas pain, no nausea, no vomiting all liquids went down well. Trust God keep your eyes on him and you will be fine. You may have gas and the pain hurt me ALOT!! But you got your stomach cut out, you will have pain then tenderness but it will be ok. In all of that I have NO REGRETS. Feel free to ask me anything and I will pray that you trust your own mind. Some people are just complainers they won't be happy no matter what. Blessings to you all.

    Need advice: Protein drinks

Did they tell you to get calcium citrate? That normally helps with the acid in ur stomach. Hope you get better with that.
  15. I was out 3weeks not including my off days on the wekend[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. I said I was having my gall bladder removed, they make the same incisions for that. Not sure about the excuse tho. I don't know why they wouldn't tho. I got my PCP to give me an excuse since he knew the whole process....GO ME!!!!

    Calcium citrate

Are they Calcium chews or calcium citrate chews?
  23. Hello all....Sleeved Feb 20th. Everything is going down well, seem like to well. If I didn't have the belly soarness I would swear nothing was done. I have that back pain as well. Have no idea what causes it but it comes and goes. My only problem is some constipation. Nothing a little MOM can't fix or Dulcolax. I read some surgeon cut 2-4oz stomachs and some 6-8oz which is why some lose more than others. I can say mine is not the 2-4oz because I can eat a full cup of yogurt or drink 4-6oz in one setting. Has anyone ever heard that?

    Puree phase unpleasant

I have hunger pains missing food as well. It's not just my mind either. As some may say....I sustain from eating it, but still!!!! [emoji23] I can only have egg, nut butters, cottage cheese and Greek yogurt as my 3 meals a day purée stage. I'm trying so hard to get use to my new normal. I will do it, this will not be a waste of time for me. God brought me this far, I know HE will see me through it. It's hard now for us but it will be greater later. Stay encouraged my dear. Just had VSG

It was totally IMPOSSIBLE for me to sleep on my side after surgery. Lord knows I tried to turn as much as I could but it was not happening. Few weeks is accurate. Way to go if you can comfortably.
