I just got my surgery done Jan. 9 in Tijuana it's not a scam....yes they are very anxious to get your deposit ...but don't let them rush you...I didn't pay my full amount for my surgery until I got there..

Having trouble drinking Water is a common issue. I had it too, but it's much better now. It kind of feels like it's getting stuck and hurts a bit. It may help to take smaller sips. Another thing that really helped me was mixing Water and apple juice half and half. That seems much easier going down. I also found taking a deep breath when I got that 'stuck' feeling helps a lot.
It will get better every day! Be patient and kind to yourself. All the best to you!

Have you tried taking in some Ginger tea or some dissolvable ginger tabs? (The Ginger People makes good ones.) Have you been able to keep any Protein Shakes or Water down? It's important to get fluids in to avoid dehydration which is a common cause of readmission after sleeve surgery. One thing that's helped me is sucking on sugar free popsicles, it's a good way to get a little Fluid in. Hope you get in to see your PCP tomorrow.

Ask your primary doc to give u zofran, omeprezole and metoclopramide. Metoclopramide has been a god send for my nausea and acid in my stomach. I am about 5 weeks post op and have had nausea everyday. This metoclopramide has greately helped. Hope u feel better
