Im going thru the same thing. Stopped on the 4th and last couple of days i have smoked. I stopped again today. I have my nicotine test the 2nd....i hope i make it

Did he give you a nicotine test? I am a former smoker but on NYE I had half with my husband and he cancelled my surgery and rescheduled after I told him the truth, which I understand, but no one told me I had to be nicotine free for 30 days so I was pretty bummed. If he did give you a nicotine test was it urine or blood? Also, you did the testing a week before your surgery at Rose? I have preop again on the 26th. Thank you for your help. I am totally nervous about this surgery.
I had them done the week before at Rose. Dr. Metz' office gave me a sheet of paper with a number I had to call. I also had to pre-register for my surgery appt. the # for that was on the same paper. Totally easy!

I went through Dr. Metz! Had the sleeve done on 9/26/16. He did surgery at Rose though.

I have federal bcbs but it wasnt too bad... 90 days nutrition and psych that is all i had to do.... i wonder why its so different
