    Side affects of vitamins

You just started taking Vitamins? Are they not chewables or liquid? No diarrhea for me. I've been taking liquid vitamins since 12/16 day after surgery. Genny415 I think Iron and or Protein is the hard stool or constipation culprit. Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App

    Bypass w/ minor issues

If everything looks good at the hospital.... I would still check with your surgeon. But remember your body is still healing..... It's pulling energy from you to do that. You need to rest and keep yourself hydrated with Water and Protein shakes. Are you taking Vitamins? When my stomach refuse to take anymore Protein Shakes (burnout) my liquid vitamins kept me alive without complications. I'm eating mushy foods now so I put nonflavored Protein powder in my yogurt, hummus and some liquid drinks. Plus everything I eat has protein, fish, Beans, eggs, cheese and so forth. Stay safe. What or who makes clear Protein drinks.... never heard of it. Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App
  13. That depend on your body (healing mechanism) also your Doctor and team, and you. I did ask my Doctor what was I to expect concerning pain level and length. I was having two different surgeries two weeks apart(foot and sleeve.) I was told the worst would be the first 24 hours then it would taper off. I was blessed I had absolutely no pain from my sleeve or my foot on the onset. So much so I questioned if he actually did the sleeve. I've actually heard of Dr. not doing it and people finding out years later it was never done. Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App

    Protein Shakes Post-Op

You certainly should be drinking Protein shakes.... My Clinic had me on 3 premier shakes daily two weeks before my surgery and even up to now, however now, only 60 grams are required. Currently 4 wks post op. I have only been eating mushy food for 5 days. Be safe Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App

Ceylon Cinnamon is the safer cinnamon. There are a lot of cinnamon out there but all except the "Ceylon" is liver damaging when consumed in large quantities. If you google "real cinnamon" you will get more information that can help you decide. Cinnamon in all actuality is very good for you. As long as it's "Ceylon"???? By the way I found a Ceylon that is absolutely delicious. See below..... Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App
