  1. I was surprised and not happy when my stomach refused to take in any more Protein drinks right in the middle of week two post-op. "Burn-out" I prayed about it and kept taking everything else. Two weeks into muchy foods I was able to stomach them again. Also, I can't stand to smell anything cooking. No matter what it is. This new found taste in my mouth (make me sick to my stomach.) Just to name a few Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App

Help what should I do ?

It my seem as though something is fishy however, it could be legit. I had two situations similar to yours. I located a dr. in my insurance portal. After contacting the office I asked(as usual) if they took bcbs... they said yes. After my visit, they billed my insurance almost three thousands and my insurance denied the claim, stating out of network. The dr. office then reduced that amount to a mere $400 and something dollars for me to pay. I appealed it and the insurance paid all of it. The second event was 5000 dollars worth of rental equipment sent to my home without prior authorization. The insurance refused to pay. However, at the end of that matter.... the two of them worked it out. I paid nothing. I would appeal it. The insurance will probable pick it up. Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App
  9. I did, but expected it. I lost muscle when I was on liquids due to struggling with getting in my Protein. I mostly saw the muscle loss in my legs. So I knew when I started taking in more solids and protien, my body was going to "re-calculate." Rebuilding muscle and burning fat. Lost 35 since pre-op... surgery date Dec. 15 2016. I'm going to make this work for me, because I will never do this again. I hated my first 4 weeks post-op. My stomach was unpredictable and I fought the whole time not to throw up. Prior to surgery I spent roughly 20 years with two obstructions in my intestines that would make me violently throw up after my food would back up ( for up to eight hours.) Long story made short..... In 2015 I had surgery (10 hrs) that corrected those issues, except for gerd. So I had the sleeve done to correct the gerd. My surgeon reassured me that the Doctors at the Nicholson Clinic realized what was being done wrong that was causing some people that got the "sleeve" to get gerd. He promised me that they wouldn't make that mistake on me. It worked!???? thank God! Off all meds to date! I'm happy I did it, but more glad that all that suffering is over! 12. Gerd is something most sleevers get after surgery. Yours however sounds a little severe. I had it before surgery and was blessed enough to wake from surgery without it. There are stronger presciptions out there. If nothing changes for you. Re- visit convo with your Dr. It may be something else. Either way that acid will eat at your esophagus causing damage leading to other serious problems. Don't stop until you get your Dr. attention and he gives you something to keep that acid in your stomach. Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App
  13. That sounds like me when I had gerd.... Not so nice and dangerous to your esophagus. Two things that can help you, first contact your Dr. and let him/her know. There is meds you can take to reduce the acid in your stomach. Second thing to do... elevate the top portion of your body were it is not laying flat. They have raised pillows you can purchase also check out Amazon so you can see them or purchase it. Don't delay your esophagus is in danger. Be safe Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App

    Food....

I'm concerned with the color of your urine and the lack of Vitamin and Protein. People have been admitted in the hospital for dehydration with symptoms like yours. I would call my Dr. and address those concerns. You Be safe Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App

  23. Well said! Most people that gossip (mostly females) are unhappy, looking for a way not to face the storms in their own lives. Now what better way to avoid facing my own issues but to tare down on someone. How irrational is that type of thinking. Actually, you need to feel sorry for them. Non the less. Do what you choose to for you! People was talking before you was born. My thing is....... keep the weight or loose it. They will talk. Stay focus on the business at hand and not the obstacles that get in your way. They are obstacles! Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App
  24. First things first "calm down" After that you must deside if you want people in your business like that. The ball is in your court to do what you will. If they're going to find out eventually then let them. You may need the time that they don't know to 100 percent focus on you, that you may respond wisely and not defensively. Also, you may want to listen to some youtubers journey. It will help you to focus more on what yoir desires are. Look for Clusie L.... a lot of topics look for "too young for weightloss surgery" Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App

Day after my surgery, too much pain.

Are you still in the hospital? Heating pads work in soothing the pain. Ask your Dr. to make sure you can use it. Feel better. My prayers are with you. So sorry Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App
