  1. As time goes on and things continue to heal and relax, you will be able to eat more. Enjoy this time while you can. At over 3 years out, I can now eat the recommended portions for people who have not had bariatric surgery, which means what I put in my mouth counts even more at this point because there's more of it.
    Although I'm altered permanently, the effects of the surgery are really short term in the grand scheme of things. It's on us after that.


    Thanks for this I needed to hear this. I will enjoy it. I was thinking maybe it's good I'm not stretching my pouch out.




  2. I'm 4 months and 4 days post op. I've lost 86 lbs. I can hardly eat. I literally take two or three bites, chew very well but still have a little discomfort when the food goes down. I also feel full when i take my Vitamins.

    I can eat a small garden salad with a few pieces of chicken breast small cubes. I can't do dairy any more. I'm usually not hungry unless I'm emotional but then i just clean something because eating isn't an option for me anymore. I eat a little less than a half sandwich and half of a street taco. Please tell me how much u eat.
