  2. I'm with you all. The date and wondering if I made the right decision. From what I've read people made this sound easy and it's not at all. I haven't been feeling to nausea in Sept for when I took a shower for the first time. I thought I'd pass out. Called Dr. She said that does happen and it takes up to a week to start feeling better. Her biggest concern is make sure u drink or she would make me go get a iv. Try hot chocolate no sugar added with your Protein . Good luck keep us posted.

  4. With the Holiday's here and seeing different people I'm not getting very many good things said about surgery. I'm getting gastric sleeve Tuesday. All I've heard is you'll get to small, sick, there's so many problems you will have with it. I'm 5'5 and sw is 245. I keep hearing I don't need it. What do you guys think? Will this happen? Am I making wrong choice? Please help!

  5. I don't have the liquid diet thank goodness. Just low carb. It's hard with the Christmas treats but we can do it. Good luck

I was surprised to find out yesterday that the University of Chicago doesn't make their bariatric patients follow a liquid diet either. They said they want their patients to get used to the diet they're going to follow after the surgery and that's not a liquid one. Just after the surgery it's soft foods, but yeah, that pleasantly surprised me.
That's what I would of loved to do. This don't make scence but I'm not the Dr. Lol

  6. I will be having surgery in a few weeks and in having the hardest time kicking caffeine. I am a tea drinker. I don't drink soda. Besides the awful headaches I feel like I can choke someone by the end of the day.. Any ideals how to cut it out?

I was hooked on diet pepsi. Now there's days I don't have any! What I did was gradually decrease the amount everyday. You will or at least I did get headaches at first. Good luck
