I had a new work photo taken. That's the only picture I have of myself before beginning my pre-op, so it's my "before." I was shocked to see my new photo. I almost look gaunt. I don't think either photo looks like me.

Not anymore the first week and half yes because they stress it so much to sip sip. I guzzled Water one day not noticing until after but didn't have any problems. I hope everything works out and you get approved and sfart your journey. Let me know if you do!

Some days are better than others. The surgery wasn't that bad. Didn't experience a lot of things I read on here. Like the gas and pain. At this moment I'm dealing with figuring out what my sleeve can and can not tolerate. Getting my Protein in is hard even after being moved to the next stage of eating I still find myself only drinking shakes. Have you gotten the procedure yet??

Thanks for responding, I only have high blood pressure. I called my insurance and they told me what hospital I had to go to. I just found my primary doctor and don't want to switch being that I'm looking to get surgery in February.

Good evening I just started my process with trying to get the sleeve gastrecromy. I'm 26 and weigh 280. I have Cigna and I just started a weightloss program with a hosptial. Has anyone been denied and has Cigna? Also I just switched my pcp doctor because I moved, when it comes time to have the letter of recommendation for surgery will that be an issue with the insurance? Being that I'm a new patient and there's only but so much information she has about me?
