  1. Awww! look at that smile! Keep on smiling hon. You're doing great!
  2. That'll make a good difference and you'll feel great too. More energy, etc. I'm happy for you. ? Keep us posted please. I'd love to follow your journey.
  3. You can do it! ?? Will you be exercising during your healthy eating as well?
  4. I'm a 40H and would love to be a D or C as well. But if they prove to still be too big for me, I'm having a reduction and lift after weight loss.
  5. So far, it's ahh-ight. Too much to navigate when tired. So, for now, I'm happy for the timers.
  6. Ooh ? I think I'll do just that and check it out. I'll save my two dollars! ? Use it towards something healthy? Lol thanks for posting that!
  7. Not sure you'll want to wait till april/may?? Or do you???
  8. I wish I could be your twin! Bueller!....lol. Cracked me up???
  9. Yeah. I think it is. I going to purchase it and see about it. I guess I'll make updates on the app. We'll see how it goes. I've got maybe two to three months to get a hold of myself. The workout part is easy, it's my awful habits.
  10. You should totally do it!!! ?
  11. I'm forgetful and busy, so I tend to just, well, forget to eat, drink, etc. And when I do eat, I'm eating way too fast. So, I'm thinking to maybe try it out. ??? Not sure yet. Thank you for your input!
  12. I have knee pain, no surgery yet. I'm pretty sure most of my pain would alleviate with weight loss. It's been studied and found on obese participants who lose weight, for every pound of weight loss, they lost about 4 pounds of pressure off the knees. So just a small weight loss, about 10 pounds, would take about 40 pounds of pressure off. Obviously, the more we lose, the more pressure is off our knees and the pain is alleviated. Blessings on your journey!
  13. Thanks for the info! I'm going to do my homework and research the patch. Sounds too good to be true, but hey, if they work, I'll gladly get these. I don't like taking so many pills.
  14. Best wishes and many blessings to you too hon.
  15. Anyone with experience using an app (example attached) for timing of your meals, how long to chew, when to drink? Has it helped?
  16. I hope you find a solution. I just want to say congrats on your wedding to be and gorgeous dress! Oh, and congrats on your weight loss too!
  17. I can't wait (but I have to): to stop having to go to the doctor/hospital/and ER!!! wear my wedding ring wear shorts to be smaller than my husband again feel sexy wear smaller clothes wear heels again not struggle getting off the floor so much to not have this darn buffalo hump (thankfully it's not too big) Just a few....
  18. I thought you were writing about me! LOL I lost inches but no weight (ok, maybe 4 pounds) but that was all in three months time. My doc says it wasn't coming off fast enough and so she sent me to the bariatric surgeon's office. I am thankful I have no co-morbidities, but the morbidly obese factor is enough to go through with this to prevent those from happening. I, too, have two small kids....it'll be the day when they ask "Mommy, where's your big belly?" So waiting for that day!
  19. @mylighthouse thank you for sharing this, I'm pre-op and I am definitely reminded to focus on my Water intake. Many blessings on your journey hon!
  20. Maybe miscommunication on their part? 25-40 in the first few weeks/months...?? Sounds more like it, right? I'm 5'6" and I'm pretty muscular too, but my pre-obese days, I was 155ish. I've been overweight about 8 years too, almost the same amount of time as you. That's about 100lbs to take off for me. You're only an inch taller than me and if you've got good muscle mass, then for sure, you should be dropping 90lbs to your goal weight. Try not to be bummed hon, I think they were wrong too.
  21. Stronger and healthier, but no weight loss? Sounds to me you added muscle mass and that's always a GREAT thing! ...you know...the muscle burns the fat. I probably bet you lost some inches too.
  22. Thank You ! I was worried about scaring too but my skin heals really well and my surgeon is top class. My tummy tuck scar has healed really well and should be a teeny silver line when I have fully recovered. Make sure you post about the other techniques as I am sure others would benifit about knowing that there are options to consider Kate Will do!
  23. Looks great! I can't wait to have mine done. It'll be a long while though. There is a guy in Houston, Horndeski, that has a technique with no vertical scars from the nipples down. It's pretty cool. Of course, to be it won't matter where the scarring is, as long as they're in place and not sagging anymore, I'll be happier. Lol. Still going to check it out for the other techniques. Congrats! Enjoy your new boobs.
