Head hunger...
Head hunger in my opinion is just a form of deception. Your mind telling you you’re hungry when your stomach isn’t. Have you ever been deceived? Probably so, and it doesn’t feel good to be deceived. So, if you want another way of looking at it, then think of that. Will you be deceived yet again? I deal with this daily. Sometimes I cave, but the most important thing is that you recognize it for what it is and overcome it the best you can.

Phentermine after VSG your thoughts
Shake it up! Eat some complex carbohydrates, sweet potatoes, quinoa, Brown rice for a few days. It’ll shock your body and you’ll start seeing a boost. Could also be you’re just not eating enough. Check to see how many calories you should be consuming. Here’s a general idea: http://eatmore2weighless.com/weight-loss-calculator/

Am so tired of people who ask every ten minutes why they're not losing weight
It’s just that....about other members. ”Just a reminder, please do not start topics specifically for the purpose of ranting and raving about other members. Please click on/refer to our posted rules that specifically addresses this.”

Perk Up! Caffeine after Weight Loss Surgery
Yum...COFFEE! So, I've been uber blessed. Absolutely no heartburn and I get to have my cup of coffee and then some everyday. It's true...caffeine in coffee DOES NOT dehydrate you. I researched that a while back. I do agree to wait on the consumption post op until it's cleared to have some. Anyone worried about acid...cold brews have less acidity as well. ENJOY!

1 year out..seem to keep losing weight
I am not all familiar with bypass surgeries, but maybe try drinking your calories! Assuming...Doesn't seem like you're getting enough nutrients. Maybe blend a bunch of leafy greens and apples, etc and drink them. Drink some protein drinks too. Hope you find something that works! Glad you look and feel great too.

Bariatric Surgery Causes egg damage?
This is what happened to me. I had multiple miscarriages and I did all kinds of treatments to get pregnant (i was a healthy weight then), never knew the source as to why I couldn't, but anyway, once I just got my mind off and entered in some peace about the lack of pregnancy (very hard to do!!!), I ended up pregnant. Not saying this is the only thing....so, it's only one area that can keep you from getting pregnant. Hope you find answers and rest hon. But more than that, I hope you conceive!!!

Stalling/Weight Gain
Not me, but I'd suggest changing up your lifestyle a bit (diet, exercise, etc). Seems the stress of moving/jobs is what stalled your scale weight, I'm assuming. Stress is a huge contributor to weight gain. Do you best to not worry, find some peace and rest hon.

Recent NSV
Recent? Umm....haven't kept track or noticed anything...so, I'll come back and put one down after some thinking. lol

Heartburn
Varies from a lot of factors. Surgery. Food. Drinks. Etc. I had excruciating heartburn from before vsg. I haven’t had one bout of it since surgery. I also changed my diet pretty significantly (mostly plant based). Some have it worse though, unfortunately. From the research I’ve done on it, types of food and drinks, and how much consumed are all culprits. Not sure the reasoning behind WLS and still possibly having it. Hope you find relief though.

Dr. Matthew Weiner
I’m sorry to hear...but ya really got to have an open mind to embrace change. We really are having fun with this. So much to learn.

hair loss
I think it’s awesome you doing everything from scratch. I need to follow suit...maybe when my four year old finally gets to kindergarten and I have time to do it! ?

hair loss
My loss has slowed but I’m not complaining. It’s still going down though. The main thing for me is the fact that I know my body is healthy; the whole reason for me to get the surgery. Not for vanity, although it’s an added bonus. I’m at against keto anything and for sure anything high animal proteins after reading how our bodies react to them in long term. This is not a ploy to scare ya, but I hope you’d be open to the science behind how your body works. The western diet hides these truths because they’re in the money making business. If you are interested, read Proteinaholics by bariatric surgeon Dr garth Davis. It’s really amazing. Science and sources and it’s easy to understand.

Raw Veggies
I had salad first. Don’t remember when but I did chew it down pretty good. Haven’t had an issue. Hopefully you won’t either! Rooting for ya!

Dr. Matthew Weiner
@JohnnyCakes you may not like this, but check out this video. I am wrong, it can make you heavier. I will for sure advocate Dr Greger. https://nutritionfacts.org/video/chicken-big-poultry-and-obesity/

Dr. Matthew Weiner
Oh...well, I avoid chicken. Lol. Chicken isn’t all that great for you either, but I don’t believe it could be the only source of getting someone fat, unless maybe tons of fried chicken and processed nuggets, again fried. In fact, I think a lot of meat is bad for you. So...I can’t really argue against his avoidance of chicken, maybe how he presented it though, but again, I don’t know if that’s how he truly presented it either. I guess I’ll do some more digging. If he’s certainly pro-veggie, fruit, and grains for diet, then I’ll probably like him. LOL. BUT I do not like the Dr V challenge, that’s still just awful IMO. But it’s good food, at least. ?

Dr. Matthew Weiner
I have yet to look him up and see what he’s about, but I wonder, what’s your take on why he is? Update: well I couldn’t find much other than the book being for sale and I couldn’t find what he really promotes lifestyle wise either. But I did find some kind of Dr V challenge which is just terrible. I’m guessing the challenge is for normal stomachs...and even if so, it’s still terrible. Way too low of calories, that’s a recipe for weight gain. Anyone has any input on this this guy, I’m intrigued, but not so much as I am with Garth and Weiner and Greger.

hair loss
All? So if you are some quinoa you’d feel like eating another serving? I don’t get that way with complex carbs. For sure simple...like donuts and crap.

Stomach pain while sleeping
To me it sounds as if it’s just pressure on your healing stomach. But if it’s continuing I’d definitely let your doc know.

Did your sex life change?
Same here. Hubby stays happy and I'm happier.

Stomach pain while sleeping
I don't recall stomach pains at 3 months; but I did have some early on, just from healing. Any specifics...like where is this dull pain located? Lower? Around the belly button? Upper? Right side? Left Side? or just a general all over? Have you been checked for a hernia?

Early stall??
If you're body is constantly changing, whether it be a lbs or inches, that IMO is not a stall. Try not to focus so much on the scale number, it will go up and down, and so many get frustrated and start stressing...and we all know that stress isn't good. Stress, can really keep you in a "stall" Relax...take the cue from those before you and know that these things will happen. Stick to your program and it'll come off. Be encouraged and blessings on your journey hon.
