Hey Ashley! Just keeping you posted! I go for my pre-op tommorow and should receive my date tomorrow also! I am so excited! I had a little kink in the road, but I hope they will correct it! My surgical coordinator accidentally got me approved for the Gastric Bypass! She tried to convince me to go ahead and get the bypass, because I wouldnt have to pay for the fills, ( basically saying because I have medicaid she thought i couldn"t afford the fills!) Well needleass to say I proceed to set her straight, so hopefully when I get there tomorrow it will be changed and I will get my date , as I was told! I am going to listen to the pros and cons of both surgeries, but honestly my mind is made up! Not to mention if i have the GB, my guy is going to have a major fit!!! So we will see< my mom said go in with an opened mind and go from there. Anywho, so how are things with you? Have you turned the packet in yet? Keep me posted! By the way what part of GA do you live in? I'm in Lawrenceville, maybe we can do lunch one day.

hey Ashley! I am so glad you enjoyed the seminar! I love them. I spoke to my patient coordinator today and from what she said, {{{drumroll please}}}} I GOT MY APPROVAL!!!! I am so ecstatic ! As for the necesary clearances, I tried to get them all before i turned my packet in. But I should have turned he registration packet first. Then also in the packet you should see a list of neccesary medical clearances. If you get them in then they will usually turn it into the relatively quickly, I cant believe I got my approval! I am so HAPPY!!!! Please keep me in your prayers! And I will do the same for u!

Hey I am still waiting for my approval. The coordinator hasnt sent out my packet yet! Although she said she was 3 weeks ago, she says it will go out friday. I am in constant prayer hoping so! hey musicmaker! I am awaiting approval for my surgery with Dr. Duncan. I had my nutrition eval with Susan friday. I wanted to know how your experience was with them. How long did u have to wait for approval? And do u know which band u have? How did u feel after surgery? and how was the aftercare u received from the office? I know I am asking a lot of questions, but I am so happy to find someone who has had recent experience with them. I love their office and I am hoping that I will continue to! Congrats on your surgery and I wish u continued success!

I am so excited to finally find someone that has experience with Dr. Duncan! I am going through my final stages of approval now. I do my nutritional eval next friday! then hopefully I will get approval quickly there after! I am so anxious! I just want everything to hurry up! so how was your experience with them? After all of your clearances were rcvd, did u get a surgery date quickly? I am praying I can be banded by late May the latest the first week in June! I am so ready!
