  2. Its not about the weight loss during this liquid diet phase, its about shrinking your liver so the surgeon has easier access to your stomach. If it has not shrunk, they may get in there and not be able to do surgery, so I have been told. Sent from my SM-N920P using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. 3boysmoma: doing excellent!! All went very well. Im very impressed how easy it was. The gas pains were the worst part. The nurses managed the pain well. Take a heating pad for the gas pains, it helped a lot. Good luck to you. Keep in touch[emoji5] Sent from my SM-N920P using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. I just advanced to stage 3 and im confused. The nut says 700 to 800 calories a day. 80 to 100 grams of protien. Im struggling to get 700 calories in a day when each meal is 2 ounces of protien and 1 ounces of vegetable. Im susposed to eat 5 of these small meals. Could anyone please give me examples of their meal plan at this stage. I eaten 2 small meals and 2 protiens and im not even at 300 calories. Sent from my SM-N920P using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. About a week and a half post op.
  16. My lighthouse: i think I need to sblw down when eating. Thank you
  17. I posted the same question as you before I saw your post. Lol
  18. Shelbymarie18: i was also just sleeved on the 11th. Im not necessarily hungry but I seem to have no problems drinking, eating a decent amount at one time, meaning yogurt or jello. I too wonder if this is all normal.
  19. I had my sleeve done on the 11th of April. Everything went really well, not much pain at all. However Im not sure if this is normal for 10 days post op. I am having no problem drinking or eating. Example, I can eat entire yogurt in one sitting. I also seem to be able to take decent size of sips at one given time. I would love to hear from others. Is this normal?
  20. No liquor! Not a wise idea you may hurt your pouch. My doctor say no alcohol ever. Other doctors say 6 months. But as you probably know it would hit you like a ton of bricks. As far as eating i think thats about it.
  21. Mylighthouse: thank you so much for your quick response. Im glad to hear what you said. Ive been so scared I misunderstood her, but I wrote it on my notes to advance diet on saturday. I was loopy from the pain meds and just not sure of myself. You have reassured me. Thanks so much.[emoji5]
  22. Im not sure if I understood the nutritionist correctly on my in hospital meeting with her on thursday 4/13. I believe she said to start eating cream soups ( strained) sf yogurt, puddings etc. On Saturday 4/15. Does that sound right to you. Of course I do realise that are many variations between doctors.
  23. I too am 5 days out. However I was allowed to start protien drinks the day I got home. Im sick of them already!!! So sweet. I tried an ounce of cream of broccoli soup. All was good. Also tried an ounce of cream of wheat cereal.?that was ok also. Im tired also. Took a nap today.
  24. Im home and doing well. The process was not bad at all. The gas bothered me most, which seemed to be in my shoulder. Im now working on getting in the protien and water. That is a full time job!!! Glads its over ( surgery).
