Probably 400-600 calories. I'm 5 months out now and averaging 1000-1200.
-
I'm 2 weeks away from 5 months and have lost 24%.

Hi! I was sleeved on 2/15/17 and have lost 62lbs since surgery and a total of 74 since I started my journey!
-
Yes! Very common. I talked to my doctor about it at then time... he said liquid going in, liquid coming out. Ew. Hang in there, it will pass. lol
-
I had one. Some surgeons require them and some don't.

Have you reached out to your doctor? Something doesn't sound right. I'm have some similar issues, I'm 10 weeks out. I recommend colace if you're having Constipation issues. I hope things start working soon!

I wasn't implying that you wanted to eat eat. I just wanted to say what an AMAZING tool we have!! I'm sorry if my statement made you think I was being mean or that I thought you just wanted to go on a binge. I also want to say I am so sorry about what you had to go thru. Again Good Luck and KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!
Not mean at all!! It IS an amazing tool. I'm just ready for the next stage. Because of all the back and forth in the hospital I think my stomach is weeks behind. Thanks for all your help!

I've been in to see them twice.. no leaks, no inflammation, nothing. Just nausea. Their cure is to wait it out..
-
Has this happened to anyone else? When did it subside?
I'm (no exaggerating) am nauseous 24/7, having a hard time getting liquids and food in, nothing sounds appetizing. I've been the the ER twice for pain and dehydration and have had every test in the book. There is nothing wrong. I'm miserable. Is this going to be my new life?
HELP

It could be an infection or allergic reaction, OR just the fact that you had major surgery. Hang in there!

Same issue here. I'm 4 weeks out and nauseous all the time. Hospitalized for 7 days due to extreme stomach and back pain and they couldn't find anything wrong. I'm miserable.

If it's bothering you and possibly hindering further weight loss I would absolutely have it removed.

I'm 9 days post op and have a huge amount of back pain, it starts in the middle of my back and radiates up my left side. I spoke to my doc and he said it sounds muscular and to rest. I've also noticed I have a slight fever, 99.2 and my heart rate is roughly 95. I just feel crappy. Any possibility this could be a leak?

I took three weeks off work for surgery, starting the day of surgery. I'm at the beginning of Week 2 now (surgery on 2/15), and I'm only just beginning to feel slightly normal, though I would still not want to go back this week. (Getting a handle on liquids/protein and building back your energy takes time!) I'm planning to return on 3/8, and I fully intend to take advantage of every single day off.
Exactly the same for me. Surgery on 2/15 and returning to work on 3/8, 3 full weeks. -
I'm still struggling to get in the required fluids. I'm usually coming up 10-15oz short each day. I'm getting in all the required Protein though so I guess that's good. I've lost 12lbs since surgery. I don't start soft solids until next Wednesday, it can't come fast enough.

I went on day 5. No issues.

I lost a ton of hair! I didn’t think it was going to stop but it did eventually. Months 4-9 were rough but I didn’t go bald! And you won’t either!
