It's only been 3 days since my info was given to my insurance.... just waiting for my approval aND date...it feels like it's been forever already....

I went specific to a weightloss clinic to get started on mine and in the end he would complete the paper in its entirety for whatever reason. I had to get my surgeon office to call and get my records faxed over.

Ask your surgeon office for one of the pcp they work with I had to swap in the beginning of my process

So the first hurdle is over my info is submitted to insurance I'm just waiting on the date...is it normal that I am just now kinda getting nervous about the surgery...like will i suceed at using this amazing new tool I'm getting ....

I think if I fell for someone that was still over weight after I lose mine that it wouldn't change anything only to encourage them to get healthier

Only 2 times I had a Foley you still try to hold your pee at first but eventually your body just make you release it...once you realize that you won't pee on yourself it's ok....when it comes out ...my best description is its like a little suction thing coming out it didn't hurt though

I feel like I have had to call check behind everyone to find out stuff had to be resent and all....frustrating and seemed forever....but I'm excited and I know it all going to be so so worth it!

..today everything was submitted to my insurance they told me 7_10 days I should have my date!yesssss

So all I'm waiting for is my blood work to come back from labcorp called my pcp they said they didn't have it...got aggravated cause blood work was done the 28th! They said they sent in already but they faxed it to the office for me so I'll be calling 8am that I need myconcent (if all my levels are good that is) sent to my surgeon office....I'm so ready to do this.... seems like there is sooooooo many hiccups in this process....I'm know I'm so close but just can't wait to be at the finish line.

Just ask for the insurance person in your insurance office ( there is a lady in mine it's what she specific does)

What is the difference between basically not eating vs gastric sleeve...I have been asked this and I don't know how to answer

I was really frustrated at first cause I wanted done immediately and now that I have completed everything and waiting for insurance approval I feel like I just can't wait anymore after the hoops and hurdles I'm ready!

I also started spending more time on here just educating myself on all there is to know and all kind of differnt personal experiences people have...it helps

Mine couldn't be submitted till everything was done the upper gi med clearance followed diet (anxiously awaiting my date now)

I think it's one of those things we have to learn to endure...I'm still preop but same thing happimg with my preop diet.... my dad went through this with his bypass...there were 3 of us kids in the house it won't always be this way ....short hurdle for our new lives of happiness

I'm only 27 but I know social media is a easy place I don't have Facebook but I hear there is support groups there as well

My first thing I can't wait for (of course outside of healing from surgery and all like that) is to post my before and after pictures...I really can't wait

Then my dr doing my followed diet flat out said he would not fill in my paper....omg....grrr...luckily the lady that handles insurance said I can just give them my records from there and she could submit that

So .... my pcp decided to order just 1 more lab work before he clears me for surgery ???? he said if I got it today he may have it back tomorrow and will send his clearance

Today I do my 3rd month weigh in and see my primary for medical clearance,assuming everything goes correct I will stop by my surgeon office to turn these papers in ...I know I won't have surgery till January sometime but can they submit my papers now for that January approval?
