Hey everyone! I am in day 3 of my preop diet and I really thought I was going to struggle with it. On my preop diet I am aloud 3 Protein shakes and 1 meal. First day was horrible, second day less horrible, and today I realized I can do this. I had nerves about being able to change the way I eat after surgery and doing the preop diet. So my husband has always been supportive of my choice but today I realized he really doesn't understand after the coversation I had with him. Day 1 of the preop diet sucks. Hey everyone! New to the site and so far what I see it looks like a great support system and looking forward to coming here. My surgery is scheduled for December 19th and I am getting my FMLA paperwork started. I called my doctor and the suggest 6 weeks has anyone else been told this amount of time for the sleeve?

I am right there with you about being anxious. Mine is scheduled for Dec 19th and start my preop diet on Monday. I can't believe that it is already here. Remember we are doing this for a good reason and look forward to the good changes coming! Good Luck!
