  1. LOL yeah the 10x mirror will do it every time [emoji23] I'm sure you look amazing. And you're Healthy!! Which is all that matters
  2. No pain. It's funny, I didn't even know i was going to be put under. The doctor I saw was very brief prior to me getting it done. Just look at it as "practice" before the big day! They put you under as if you're going into surgery lol
  3. Hey everyone! I love this app so much, it's really helped me and educated me beyond any research! One thing I haven't stumbled upon yet are "signs that tell you when you're full". I'm about to start my 2 week liquid diet and I was just curious some signs POST OP people have experienced - their body telling them they're full. I would appreciate everyone's feedback!

  5. I made myself a list (4 restaurants) for my fiancé and I to go to one last time. I would stay away from fast food though..
  6. It took them forever to approve me but I think it was mostly the Doctor's fault. I initially went to Kennedy, went though everything.... When I found out 1 month after they submitted my info that Kennedy wasn't a Blue distinction center... which meant I had to go to a different hospital. Kennedy ended up transferring all my info to Virtua and it took a good month from there before I got the approval. Surgery date is 04/11. I started this whole process in the beginning of October. Once everything is said and done, the whole process will take 6 months. Not that bad, considering some people have to wait longer.. Trust me when I say the time goes by sooo fast. This is a lifestyle change that will last your LIFETIME so there is no need to rush into it
  7. April 11th. This time has definitely flown by. I can't believe I start the liquid diet this month [emoji15]

  13. @@teedsg I'm going to call them this morning to see if they can tell me which state my insurance is out of and go from there! If I don't need the 6 month supervised diet, then I can submit all my paperwork to the insurance within this week or so. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. @@kmsull617 should everything go well it should be in January. I'm just hoping they don't require the 6 month supervised diet. I'm preparing for the worst just in case. I started this whole process the beginning of October. It appears that the 6 month supervised all depends on the state. I would just prepare for the worst which would be another couple months of waiting. We shall see Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  20. Hi guys! So I'm all done my requirements per my surgeon. I should be able to submit my information to the insurance this week. A couple things I wanted some opinions on. 1. I haven't gone to the doctor for 6 months so they could track my weight. 2. I'm not sure what state my insurance is out of?? I live in New Jersey so I'm really unsure. Any ideas?? I'm super nervous and after reading all these posts I feel like I'm going to get denied. I'm at 40 BMI, but I feel like they're going to want me to do a 6 month documented diet. 21. If you don't mind me asking, why did they deny it the first time? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
