I had my surgery on 4/19/17. I have had a sore mouth and tongue. My tongue swells and I have severe pain. It burns severely and is dry. I use several dry mouth products to try and help. Well they don't do any good. The Inside of my lips get raw sore spots, too. I'm just taking a shot to see if anyone else had any problems like that.

I have been on acid reflux medicine for at least 15 years. I have no side effects from it. I had my RNY on 4/19/17. I stopped my meds and was told to go back on it for 3 months. The thing is about a year and a half ago I was also put on omeprazole. So I am taking 40mgs Nexium in the morning and 40mgs Omeprazole at night. I still have acid reflux so they changed me to Protonix and it just got worse. So back to the Nexium and Prilosec. Then a Probiotic added also dissolve and take Carafe before meals and at bedtime. I am quite disappointed that they give the inuindo that our acid reflux will be gone after surgery. I just had a scope on my upper gi last Tuesday and everything looked great. Hey guys.[emoji255] I was raised to eat everything on my plate. We could not leave the table until our plates were clean no matter what time it was. I feel guilty leaving anything on my plate. I bought a child's plate and silverware to help. It's still hard. Also I have had so many problems since my RNY Gastric Bypass on 4/19/17. I have just been cleared for regular food. What are some recipes and ideas for still some soft food during the transition to regular food. I can feel my stomach is still sensitive. I can feel it. Any help would be great. Thx. Hi I am 10 days away from surgery and having a horrible time with my liquid diet. I have had a stomach virus and migraines severely. I am a diabetic and my feet are killing me. I think I have more cracks on them. So it's been hard to walk. Also loved the Premier shakes b4 I had to drink 2 a day. Now I can barely choke them down. So I guess I am looking for any advice what might help my nausea or migraines. This week is 2 shakes and 1 meal next week is full liquids. Any advice?
